Re: [FAQ] How To Install An Integra Type-R Cluster Into Your Non-ITR Integra (GSR, LS
Hey guys didnt feel like starting a new thread so I revived this one. my friend has a 96 ls and he put in a itr not sure on year but his mph doesnt work but everything else does??? Is that normal did he have to do an extra step? or is that point of swapping the itr faces to an ls gauge housing?

Nah no extra step.. everything should work perfect following the steps.. so the itr cluster he bought is most likely bad.. mine works perfectly

So what if he didn't swap the gauges like in this diy? Would that explain why the speedometer doesn't work. If that's the case that the actual cluster is busted then he can still buy an ls cluster and just swap the itr faces over.
So since the car is a 96 he needs a 94-97 ls cluster to work just plug n play correct not an 98-01 correct?

If he did the wiring right on the 98-01 itr cluster then the speedometer is probly bad on it,, that's if he did the wiring right.. could be he messed up somewhere.. I didn't wanna hack up my harness.. that's why i swapped the faces

I have a question I didn't see answered.... After swapping components, will the needle move on the speedometer as if it was displaying mph?even though the speedometer is in Kph?

Just did this in my 96 LS cluster, worked perfect. Just make sure you screw the screws on all the way for each gauge as they make the connection on the film. First time my temp gauge didnt work, looked at it and I didnt screw one of the screws in all the way.
