>What clutch is everyone using for their 200-250whp motors<
So I'm building up a LS/T setup in the near distant future and I'm basically gonna get some internals built in with a Greddy bolt on turbo kit. Looking to aim for 200-250whp but I'm kinda stuck as to which clutch/brand is best... Please help me out guys...

for that power output id recommend the exedy organic. it held my 273 hp for a good 3 years. until i fried it with 300whp + major abuse.
PS plus its cheap....about $230 if you search around...i believe member sn: alchemist has them for a good price.

ACT Xtreme PP + Organic disc
Action 2MS
CM stage 3
All good choices. The LS makes great torque so, the PP also need to be on par or it will slip.

Its hard to get feedback on something like a clutch, theres a number of great products out there, and everybody has different opinons. Thats why i decided to go with act, cause i've never heard any complaints about their product. Heard bad things about action, my buddy had an exedy and it was really noisy. IM happy with my choice but paid out the *** for it.

ive heard some bad things about act, but they are few and far between and nothing to be concerned about. i just ordered another 6 puck unsprung disc for when i rebuild my motor. the one i have now has about 8k miles of 200+ft/lbs on it, and probably 10k or so of me beating on it n/a. this will be the 3rd act clutch ive had, and i have nothing bad to say.
oh my setup is the act heavy duty pp and 6 puck unsprung disc (hdr6)

Through my experience with clutches the only one that could take MY abuse is the ACT. i love the ACT's performance, long life, and hold i would strongly suggest it. i dont like ceterforce's, or clutchmaster's in the cars i have driven that have them. as far as exedy or action??

ACT HD pressure plate with the unsprung ACT 6-puck here. Holds up fine and it's not too bad to drive once you get the hang of it. Only rarely squeaks at me and that's only if I'm really riding the sucka.

I run the act heavy duty pressure plate with street disc. I woud stay away from the lower level exedy and clutchmasters clutch kits. I've had problems with a number of exedy's and one clutch masters 6 puck setup(this was on a stock turbo sohc on 8psi!) on cars that I have tuned. It sucks when you go to tune a car and the clutch just starts slipping once you crank the boost up

I realy like my ACT XTSS clutch kit ! I beat mine alot and when we took the engine out we inspected it and after nearly 1000miles of abuse it still looks like new ! so far everyone who has ACT likes em and they say nice things about them !
