What is the best boost controller
Pls post here and vote for apex-i ,greedy, blitz ,hks, sard
Summary(correct me if i am wrong)
Through the votes greddy have the most votes for being simple
but from an experience mechanic Hks is famoust for being very accurate compare to others this mechanic is not really bias and very representable
ANd through my research Blitz latest model that are diplay below form our friend here show that Blitz are an above adverage boost controller.I personally vote for
Blitz
1.Blitz--- latest with soleroid(dual) complete with all the need
2.Greddy profec b-2 -----simple easy to use yet competitable
3.HKs----accurate representable but using stepping motor
4.Apex-i avcr-----stylish

Re: What is the best boost controller (sky88)
Why doesn't someone mention the A'Pexi AVC-R? Does it suck? Or is the Greddy Profec way better?

Re: What is the best boost controller (sky88)
i guess it all boils down to what you need and want.
the avcr has more functions than alot of the standard ebc's, but it also has more to learn and is a tad bit more complicated.
the original profec-b worked great for me and was nice and simple; nothing too flashy and it got the job done.
the newer profec-b does have some more features and a smaller solenoid, which i would have liked.
for your definition of best i guess you'd just have to look up all the major features of each and decide what you need/want and what you could really do without.
then there are other things to consider for some people, like if you want the boost controller in the open and accessable or hidden away most of the time. the profec worked fine for me b/c it was a simple rectangle black box and didn't draw too much attention. the size and shape of the unit determines how and where you can mount it, if that's important to you

From what I've heard the Innovative boost controller is a big pain in the *** to get it to hold a specific boost.

My boy in South Florida uses the Innovative controller and swears by it now. He is putting down a little over 600whp with full leather interior. Took him a while to get everything dialed in but well worth it.

with electronic you could have up to 5 boost settings, peak-n-hold readings.. disadvantage is switching between boost levels unless you have button/trigger extention to switche between 2 levels, where you could do it easier with manual 2 stage. say you're at the track and want more traction in first and up the boost into second.
