Re: turbo j32 drag ek project
have you started the car yet very very nice job.I will be starting a thread about my build except it's going in an ek hatch I can't wait to get started going to pick up hatch this week end.
Will you post some pics of the motor top view and of the redone manifolds. How do you plan on doing the piping coming off the throttle body again very nice job.
What year is the motor and trans you are using.

The motor is from a 01 acura cl and the trans is from a 05 or 06 accord. The intake aide of the the throttle body will be cut and repositioned for a better flow and fitment. The charge pipe will have a few pie cuts to make the weird radius bend. As far as the turbo manifold im not 100% sure yet will be alot of measuring and and trying different fitment to find the best

A little bit of inspiration actually. I'm swapping in a J36/J37 (depends on what the machine shop tells me I need to do), and will eventually be going turbo with a small little guy, no intercooler, water/methanol injection, low boost. Your exhaust setup looks killer on the hot side. I'm not sure I can get away with a hood cut on a daily, but, it's still pretty badass!!!

Don't do a 37 you have to make custom flywheel spacer and some other stupid small things. Use a 99-00 Odyssey engine to type s heads and cams the Odyssey has factory forged rods

Re: turbo j32 drag ek project
Already working on the small things. I've got a J32a2 w/ CLA6MT trans, J37 crank/rods/pistons already, already working on the snout and the spacer for the flywheel, N/A exhaust will be here shortly, already have mounts, axles, radiator, harness is being rebuilt with some other fun toys built in, already got the shifter box and cables, running standalone and probably a clutchmasters clutch assembly and flywheel w/ hydro bearing. Just need to order valve springs and retainers and do all the assembly of the parts. Small parts don't bug me, it's part of the journey.

use a OEM flywheel OEM pressure plate and a p2r clutch disc what I am running. They are good for 600lbs to
