Re: Tenative Name Your Own Turbo Kit Pricing (dvp95)
Damn, im in the market for a turbo, well piecing it together. But to put it nicely, I dont know **** about the actual turbo. I dont know what the specs are, the trims, etc. Where can I find this out? Do I want a t3,t3/t4, t4? I have a 96 accord with a 98 H22a. Do you have the piping for the intercooler that would fit that? Also, if I get one from each "category" is that enough for the whole turbo setup? Thanks, im sorry but im a dumbass when it comes to the actual turbo. I "was" planning on pieceing it together over a few months, but if everything is cheap now.................****.
Yes, if you cover every category that completes the basic turbo setup. You will need some larger injectors, and an OBD1 conversion for the hondata.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.

The were not engineered to work together though, so there is going to be differences. Just out of curiousity, why don't you want the revhard piping?
Kyle
P.S. Thanks Justin and Matt

The diamater of the piping is different, other than that the both route the piping pretty much the same.

Do you have piping for an h22 accord hybrid?
You could always go with the DIY.

Ok. On th DIY piping, how does that work? Do i have to cut the pipes myself to make it work?

Re: Tenative Name Your Own Turbo Kit Pricing (dvp95)
Unless you want to explain it here, where can I find out about how the trims of the turbos work? I really dont know anything about the turbo itself. I understand everything else, but the turbo is a mystery. Thanks

All those are good links to help you get started. Don't worry, the GB isn't going to end anytime soon.
Basically the most popular turbo (for our application) is a t3/t4 57 trim 63 ar.
As the numbers go down the turbo housing gets smaller, less effecient at high rpms, and more responsive (less lag). As the numbers get bigger the turbo housings get larger resulting in a more laggy turbo, but ultimately one that can support more power.
Maxium boost is a great book. I suggest you at least go to borders and sit there a while and read it. Sometimes there are even hot chicks at Borders

Alright, first off im new to the boards, so i dont know many of you. This sounds like a great deal, and thanks for all your hard work Kyle. I think it is great, i also bought a dell, and i can see the familiarness(is that a word?) I was wondering if we could get a lil inovative turbo action.T3/60-1 Hybrid Turbo is one im looking at. well, thanks for all your hard work, and if u cant get that turbo, then i can just go without a turbo on the deal, thanks a lot man.

I will call and talk to them tomorrow. I have been meaning to talk to Art about including the Precision turbos. Maybe I should do that now
