So I'm tuning a K-Pro'd K20A-R Turbo right now...
Letting the car cool off between pulls...
Jesus Christ this thing is a PITA to tune compared to S200...This thing needs target lambda.
Oh Yea, Tuning VTC is going to take forever incase anyone was wondering...
I've spent like 2 hours on it so far and I got 3 cam angles to go.
GT3561E Spools mighty-fast on a 2L K20 BTW...

Cool dave. Ill be tuning our setup in the next week or so. See my post. K20a2 in an eg with revhard kit.

I saw it....this is a Custom WF Kit, K-Pro...built motor :D
Only gonna see 10psi today, until the 750s and 3Bar come in.

Sounds great. We have the 550's in right now using the greddy map, but have the 750's and will be tuning for 10+ psi soon. Hopefully the 3 bar setup comes available soon. Let us know the #s on this setup.

The 3bar map sensor feature just came out. It version 1.1 of the kpro.

On our car which is a k20a2 with the revhard kit we are seeing full boost(7psi) by 3500.

I tuned a GReddy kit on a stock RSX-S at 9psi it made 280whp and 230tq. Got it all tuned out in about 40pulls on the dyno. VERY impressive system..

Once you figure out the maps for all the cam angles you are good to go! I think its a good system, but time comsuming. But just like anything you do it takes time. You are smart dave and by the time you are done you'll be the expert.

Is this on the HondaWerx/SpeedWerx car? If so, that's great! Would love to hear some numbers. Any chance you could tell me what size ic there is on there? I remember looking at the car at HIN and was like HOLY ****, he kept his front bumper support....

I remember seeing your car...It's nice.
I did all the present work on the car...Complete Revamped Turbo\Fuel System from what was on there before...No more Cybernation Black Box crap...
Precision Turbo and AS1025 Intercooler...we were able to still keep the core support and gain some ground clearance...the old core was really weaksauce and hung down too far. All the new piping is 2.5" 304L from 2.25" Mild that was rusting...Full Fuel System....-8AN Feed\-6AN Return with a A1000 Pump and Fuel Cell.
It's setup to make 550+whp now reliably, without the driveability issues it had.
Tuning was kind of cut short, the K-Pro took a **** and wont connect thru the USB.
I next day aired it to them today...This was mint when I parked it last night...come in, in the morning and its broken...*Shrugs*

excuse my noob question concerning K series...
I have talked to some tuners on another forum who are running a full standalone on some boosted and NA K20s and they have the VTC disabled. What ill effects would this have on the tuning. Didnt Hondata perform some testing regarding this or am I dreaming this up?
