your going to get the answer of no. do a little research on here and see why people pick the kits they have or why they piece their kits together

You could go with a ebay manifold. But you will get your moneys worth. You don't want to cheap out on everything when it comes to turbocharging your car. The ebay manifolds are thin walled, so they will crack.

If you can't afford it wait for a proper turbo and tuning its cheaper than replacing the engine and turbo later

when are we going to sticky a warning about ebay kits? i think its just as important as any sticky we have. it would also cut down on threads like this. just saying.

if you going peice a turbo kit together, the only thing that i would get from ebay is intercooler and intercooler piping. now if you want to run a castiron manifold, ebay has blox's and blox's style turbo manifold for a good price but anything else stay away.........

If I were you I would enjoy N/A if it's a DD.... Turbos are not only expensive to buy but are expensive to maintain. Oil changes every 1500-2000 miles with the best oil you can get. Premium gas... The works.... Not to mention how much gas they suck lol. I would spend your money on a high compression build if I were you but that's just my 2 cents... Goodluck finding a kit though... If you really wanna go turbo I would just get a modded td04 turbo to see how it is before you dump a few grand on a kit and not really like it. Also keep in mind that a turbo requires low compression... I prefer 9.0/1 compression ratio. If you have any questions just hit me up over pm

thats good itercoolers and manifolds are the hardest parts to find for a turbo kit around here. i know i can find a nice turbo, bov, and oil lines somewhat easily on craigslist. this piecing together might be easier than i thought

Bro stick to what you know which is srt 4s. You dont need low compression to run a turbo. **** theres guys like myself that have been wrong this gsr motors for thousands of miles. The compression on my motor is 10:1, not high nor low though. To say that there expensive is just crap, its the price you pay if you want performance.

Yea... Your right you can run higher compression... But your more prone to detonation... Plus I'm assuming this is a DD and he's gonna want to not spend more money on in depth tuning to get his a/f straight... But it's cool bro... Believe your buddies and when your a/f is off and your **** is detonating don't come crying to me. Let me know if you need any questions answered correctly

Also if the OP goes High Compression build like you suggested, you will have to get that tuned as well, so no matter which way he goes, other than staying stock, he will need a tune unless he does basic mods(Intake, Header, Exhaust) which will not alter his A/F as drastically as adding a turbo or running high compression.
