after reflecting back to the dyno, You could visually see the wheels slightly toe-ing out under acceleration. Because the LCAs were moving forward, and because of where the tie rods are tied into the chassis, it pulls the wheels out-ward. Definately going to try some traction bars!!!

When I first brought the idea up awhile back, people said it wouldnt be worth it to do ME-RWD...never know!
We have a Turbo VG30 front clip at our disposal, or will look into a 2jz. The hardest part about either of these would be the steering racks, as the bellhousings will sit right where the steering rack should be. By then, wed be weeks into re-designing the front suspension. We will see on the Teg, for now, its a sitting shell.

On my engine issue, Im completely blown away at how the K series cars performed at Gingerman this weekend. Ive got some people shopping around for K swaps, so this may add another "coolness" point to the project

OK, Ive got most of the K swap lined up, but through my partial sleep/awake stages this morning, I realized that the Ks are Individual Coil Packs(ICPs). The SpeedPro B2B system that I have is designed for use with a stock ignition system, or an MSD system, fed to a distributor. One output wire goes to the MSD unit, then the rest is self explanatory.
Now, Is there a way to build a "distributor" of sorts to distribute this signal into individual cylinder sparks at timed events, based on the stock K motor timing sensors used as inputs?
I think it would actually be similar to this, although more than likely much more complicated...

The Motec Ignition Expander (IEX) might help you.

but first he'd need a motec. the motec ignition ex actually requires a digital coded signal from the motec ecu to fire. its not just a simple analog pulse.

glad to see you aboard SEFI!
Thanks for the pointers guys. According to the FAST wiring instructions, itll fire a GM DIS motor. At most, I might have to go with a crank trigger to get the proper signals(as the stock sensors may be digital, vs/ Analog of the FAST). We'll figure it out.
But yes, a K swap is planned! 130lbs lighter, more tq(k24, 11:1). And because they use a sleeve similar to the B motors, no sleeving should be needed for the power levels Im shooting for(300whp), probably 10-12 psi on a disco or something.

Kdata, but that would involve two full days of wiring, which Im trying to avoid. Oh, and another $1600 in ECUs, adapters.

Better sleeve it or your gonna scuff the cylinder walls.
130lbs did you wieght it? It will produce more TQ than HP.

Just wanted to give you . I fully understand the trials and errors that go on with a project like this. We have a full race RWD Civic, and for you to make a streetable one is awesome. Good luck with your project. Here are a few pics of our race car:

Im glad to see you guys aboard!!! I think your car was the first that I had seen actually "run and drive". The Top Fuel Sol, I have never seen more than a picture of.
Congrats on the big numbers! Get some better internals, and watch them drop
