It's no different between cam gears LOL! Degrees are degrees - some came display 1* increments and others are 2* increments so adjust accordingly. Either way you risk having issues unless you properly degree the engine.

Yes i realize that. i would just like some input on what people have their settings too. head was not shaved, deck was not milled. I installed a set of pro 1s and ge gears. and now the car will not idle. i just need it to idle so i can make checks before dyno tuning it. thanks

The Pro series do not have "quick settings" like the Tuner series, does. You'll need to degree the camshafts into the engine. As TurboCRV stated, there's very little difference in cam gears and you won't see much in the way of write-ups on this, as its rather common.
Good luck to you.
Good luck to you.

Degree them in. Every engine will be different. Even drop in cams aren't really drop in. Do it right or pay the price when it goes south

It even says they MUST be degreed on their site.

It just doesn't make sense that you think it would idle after just throwing them in. You need to TUNE the car haha... but to be able to properly do that you NEED to know where the cams can be moved to or where the safe settings are. Any reputable tuner wouldn't even touch your car with those cams if you didn't even check the "drop in" / aka whatever you threw them in there at V2V and P2V settings. These are all cast heads and blocks on top of being mass produced - every combination is different.
There isn't any way around it. Unless you are willing to pull the head and take measurements, then just put the stock cams back in. Is it really worth having V2V or P2V contact once you hit VTEC? Hey, if you don't care then we don't care.
