What could they have possibly been thinking........ I mean they probably had a shop install the nitrous kit, so they probably didn't know **** about that, and the yuppy probably went into the shop and was like "I need NOS, the big one, no make that two, and I need it by tonite" or he did what happend in our shop, == rich guy comes in with brand new porsche 911 turbo, told us he wanted 600hp, Turbo John said no problem, the guy didn't mention anything about it being reliable, so we gave him what he wanted, ...... guy comes in to pick car, does it have 600hp? we say "yeah around there somewhere", guy says " so i can drive it home now and it'll be ok".... turbo john comes outta nowhere n says.... "fu-k no!! you didn't say ne thing about reliable!! you said 600hp thats it, thats what you got, you want reliable, you better give me a lot more money......
good story, seems like that guy and this guy may be related

Turning off the DELAY for the NOS gave the 3.5VQ engine a nitrious boost of 375 HP in one gulp, she took it fine off the line resulting in the best 60 foot time ever, a 1.20... as andrew approached the 300 foot mark it was over, the engine blew and sent a fire ball from under the car.

I liked that guys attitude throughout the whole thing. That's a good vid.

No, a progessive nitrous controller ramps in the nitrous hit based on time, speed, RPM, gears, whatever. Makes it easier on parts and tires, he was still running a 375 horsepower hit before. Think about it, a 375 horse shot of nitrous all hitting @ 3000 RPM's will add a solid 500+ ft-lbs of torque. Way too much for the motor to handle. Ramping in that 375 horse shot of juice from 3000-5000 RPM's and then holding it through the shifts will let a motor like that live with more power than it should.
