Default OMG ghetto budget build (your doing it wrong!?!?!)

figured Id throw up a build thread since Im putting another hatch back together.

goals:
breaking into 11's and Ill be happy, get kicked out even better.

car:
94 cx shell completely gone though and taken out ever part I didn't need in it or was to heavy in the first place. I wanna get it down to 1950-2000lbs flat once its done. shouldn't be too hard to do.

suspension:
bwr coilovers, wanted progress series 2 drag coilovers but they were on back order till who knows when
gsr rear sway bar
teg front brakes
drum rear breaks (better for towing lol)

motor:
b20b low miles longblock from a local importer
arp head studs
arp rod bolts
gsr tranny
home made ram horn I got from my buddy for $70
ebay turbo (zomg my motors gonna grenade!)
wyntomn 38mm ss mini wastegate
home made charge pipes
home made down pipe
ebay fmic herra jdm sport delta fin big dogger edition
precision 680cc injectors
walbro 255lph fuel pump
hondata s300

talk **** if you must. I don't care for any ones opinion on here to be honest. any one who preaches about "get a tial waste gate" or that ebay turbo will instantly explode! hasn't done what I have with cheap parts or hasn't really had hands on experience with the parts I use. I would use the wyntomn wastegates 10x over a tial.

flame on.

my list of ebay parts
obx lsd
obx ramhorn
godspeed intercooler piping
godspeed 44mm wastegate
godspeed bov
yenyang clamps and hoses
who flung *** holset rebuild kit.

A set of delta cams would help that sucker breathe on the cheap. I think they have some bisi "like" regrinds that folks seem to like.

i dont think id use an ls trans with 24.5"s. gsr should work better on 24.5s with a rev limiter around 7000 - 7500. at that weight it wont take much to hit your goal, especially with a good short track

I don't exactly mind going cheap as long as the stuff lasts. However, a lot of the time when you buy cheap parts they're that great. I'd probably spend more money on a better turbo personally but each his or her own. Still looking forward to seeing results.

on my last ls turbo hatch I had to switch to a ls tranny cause I was hitting the revlimiter in 4th with my gsr on 24.5's. I had no problem turning them cause of all the tq that my motor made (280tq @314whp) I kinda just wanna go with a gsr for fun since I know it will feel alot better on the street but it just comes down to which tranny I can find first pretty much.

this will be the first time running one in about 3 years so I can't say. I only plan to make 350whp at the very max most likely but we'll see once I get it all together and I tune it.

always wanted to do a cheap cheap turbo build. seen it done, car will go like **** off a shovel but for how long? looking forward to seen tho and afterwards keep updating on reliability, once you learn the limits these builds can make decent power and stay reliable just not near as much as a real build, best of luck

thank god someone had some ********* lol. I wouldn't call it a $600 turbo kit to be honest more like a $356 dollar turbo kit or something lol. the only parts that Im actually worried about in terms of reliability are: oem rod bearings/ rod bolts and the hot side oil seals. Iv ran 10 of these wastegates on multiple projects Iv put together for people and not one issue. the manifolds been on a friends car for two years now hes having a nice ram built so he said I could pretty much have his.
