I know this is a stupd question but I just missed your buy, do you plan on ever running this again. I needed to find someone in my area that could tune it before I ordered and now I missed the ending date!?

there probably won't be a group buy for a while but you guys can definitely buy the same stuff from him now; the prices may be a little higher but you can still get the pre-tuned maps etc etc etc.

I have also been waiting two weeks. No biggie. Others that have been recieving thiers have waited about 4 weeks. so it looks like it is going to be another two weeks or so. But im still waiting on all my turbo components and still have to biuld a lot of piping and lines i am in no particular hurry. i do miss my car though, would like to drive it stock with the 4b and get familiar with the system.

Re: i know this sounds dumb... (88CRXHybrid)
I'm looking @ stage 3B.. but... will it support over 29 pounds of boost? I was going to put it on a beast of an engine that would be seeing 40 lbs @ the track. would the stage 4b be worth the upgrade? I don't understnad the data logger function... Thanks

Re: i know this sounds dumb... (dustin)
Hey I really want a hondata, they are the best.
here is my question, where do I plug in my v-afc when I get the hondata.
also, can I use cam gears with the hondata? I heard you cannot use hondata and camgears.
also, do I need a turbo timer? what size intercooler does the hondata work with.

Re: i know this sounds dumb... (dustin)
dustin-
i would try soldering the VAFC directly onto the ECU casing, I usually get the best boost response from that location, plus it helps with positive crankcase vacuum.
about the camgears, just get the CRV crank pulley, it SHOULD word fine like that, but you cant use an intercooler because there wont be enough load on the engine to spool the turbo to full maximum boost potential. If all else fails get a JDM upper radiator hose and a splitfire sparkplug.
good luck

Re: i know this sounds dumb... (ChiBoy)
dude, are you guys on crack? of course hondata wont work with cam gears. when you install the hondata, you wont need the cam gears no more. sell em and use the money to upgrade your antilock brakes because youll need it to stop your car from flying off the freeway at extremely excessive speeds. if you have a turbo timer, you can get rid of it too. the hondata comes with a built in turbo timer that actually prevents your motor from engine damage at idle. one more thing, youll need to buy an APC clear valve cover so you can make sure the hondata is properly mounted under the valve cover so it does not get in the way of the valve clearances.
