I went 11.378 @ 130.37mph w/a 1.824 60ft this weekend on some crap Nitto drag radials, 205/55-14's at 15psi inflation. STILL NO SLICKS!
I got to the track late, so this was my first and only pass at this boost level and on these Nitto tires. Car was in daily driven trim, full exhaust and a full tank of gas.
There's definitely more in it, because I bogged it down to 3200rpm on the launch, and then pedaled it on/off/on in 2nd because it completely blew the tires off on the 1-2 shift.
Track is closed for this year, so I'll have to try to better it next year. It'll definitely do 10's on slicks. I might try to go 10's on some 225/50-15 BFG drag radials just for the challenge though!

Freaking nuts man!! I would love to see your car on slicks, hell even on 225s and running 10s!!!
Eventually I will be putting a Vitara piston setup in a 90 CRX HF shell my friend and I have sitting at home.
1700lb car + 400whp, should be fun.

Thanks guys.
Here's a pic of the slip:
I just might try for 10's on the 225 bfg's- that would be sick!!! I don't think anyone has gone 10's on street tires in a sohc yet have they?
The car was around 2250lbs. on that pass w/me in it, and it wasn't a clean run. I can easily pull about 100lbs. out of it, so that should help quite a bit. That plus some nice 225 bfg's and a clean run should get me real close (I hope).
I'm not sure it'll quite do it though, because I have to add a heavy 6-point roll bar.
I'm sure a 1700lb HF would do it though!!
I might swap to a Z6 head, bigger TB, and Edelbrock IM if the Y8 head doesn't get me there.

whats your suspension set up and what kind of boost/traction control set up are you using?
\p.s. those are some awesome times. you could alsmot be knocking at the door of the DR record.

I have an OBX LSD, stock axles, generic dropzone coilovers & shocks w/450lb. springs up front, 1000lb. springs in back.
I just left the Profec B on high boost and went for it!!
I do think that this might be a record on the Nitto DR's, everyone runs the BFG's because the Nitto's don't hook near as good.

Not sure if you guys will allow my dohc zc cuz it has a twin cam head but its still a D series family member. I went 11.95@113 with a stock head and stock internals dohc zc on 16lbs making 300whp and 237wtq in a full street trim crx.
