This guy could make an ext gate woork JUST fine...hEs just bent on using that ( a FAR less superior alternative) housing than what will work BEST for what hes looking for. ATP makes nice stuff, I have some on my sled... But.. Whatever. Not my car. I dont care....

I refuse to believe an External WG cant be added to whatever voodoo hes got going on.

this guy cannot make an external gate work while keeping both his nice downpipe setup, and air conditioning... This guy doesnt enjoy spending the extra money to keep the internal setup, but like I said straight up I would hand you 100whp to keep my ac and dp... sorry

can you get some pics from the top w/ a tape measure in the pic to give us a better idea of housing sizes that might fit...

Would a turbo like the one in the link below be an option? You wouldn't have to change your manifold to accommodate it...look at the turbine housing

Now theres an idea! Do you think something like that is available in a t3 footprint?

i'm sure they are...if not, just take a new turbine housing to a welding shop, have them cut a hole in it and weld on a 44mm flange....easy as pie

now w/ better pics..you could have a t3 to t3 adapter made w/ the wg flange added in between and have them rotate the bottom flmage ever so slightly so any t3 turbo would fit...

solves all problems of creep & finding the internally gated turbo...yea youd have to shorten up the dp a tad...but it would work

and where is this magical ac compressor you speak of?

the condenser is actually in the way more than the compressor... Do they make that adapter in a t3 to t4 footprint?

Angle it right. It'll clear the A/C condenser.

yes cody from lovefab actaully used to have a flange w/ both bolt patterns right on it...if you could get one un-tapped you could just mate the two w/o any extra welding etc...

no prob...but where is the a/c compressor? on the backside i know h22's are limited on space in a dc2/like chassis?> i just cant see anyplace it would go...unless you mount it onto the front support and run a huge belt

The compressor is a small, non-honda unit that is going where the power steering pump belongs... It is going to be run by the power steering belt.

what if you add the 90 degree pipe and then add the wg. instead of making the wg come right out of the manifold.

Cool, now promise to stay out of it for good, you have contributed absolutely nothing useful to the thread other than standing in as my 37 year old honda whipping boy, which i must say was nice for a while, but has definately lost its "first kiss" feel... act your age, buy a mustang, and harass them on their thread.
