Default Need advice on h22 turbo

I have got a 95 civic coupe with an h22 swap in it, i am running 14.1s at the track. the engine is stock with the exception of the skunk2 manifold, the 70mm throttle body, intake, header and 2.5 inch exhaust. That is also with a set of M&H slicks. I use this car for mainly daily driving but i do take it to the track about twice a month. I am starting on getting a turbo setup together next week, I dont really care about the HP and TQ numbers, I am strictly looking for a low 13 or high 12 second car. I need advice on the style of the turbo that would work best for this, dont worry the car will be dyno tuned. I have had some people tell me a t25 or t28 style would get me there and the others tell me t3t4 would be the way to be, can i just please get some clarification on the subject here. Oh ya i just got done searching for the last 2 hours on here. any help is greatly appreciated

Um. NO. a T28 or T25 will NOT get you there. You gotta do more than 2 hours here bud. Go on Google, and research H22 Turbo with a Keyword of "Honda-Tech". you'll find a TON of different setups on there.

4 rules of thumb.

1) Never go by an ET to dictate how fast you want the car to be. Have a power goal in mind, and understand your engine enough to know what physically it can, and can't take. Boosting isn't hard but is hard on H22s due to their cylinder sleeve design

2) KNow what a "T3T4" is before anything else. Understand they are housing and cartridge hybrids that hold a variety of wheels from 200whp up to over 1000whp, and can all be called "T3T4".

3) Have a budget ready. when you think you have enough, save about $500 more. Make sure your engine is in healthy mechanical order from head to toe before going on this adventure

4) For goodness sake... NO EBAY.

I would get a 57 trim. i am just not a fan of the t25 or t28. with a 57 trim when your car feels slow you could turn up the boost and make more power. plus with a t3/t4 there is more parts like manifold and down pipes
