Yeah it does! When she's at full spool, the wastegate dump tube screams like a raped banshee. It's unnerving every time, even though I know to expect it.

Great built and details. What modification have you done to the intake manifold? I could not find any info on it.
Did you get to 417 whp with the stock cam? I tought you wanted to use the bisimoto level 2.4 but changed your mind in the end.

I just landed in Korea, but I'll try to post some videos soon. They really don't do the car justice because the long gears appear to take forever to build RPM. It's a poor illusion because a 3rd gear pull from 4k to 6k propels the car from ~60 to ~110mph.

Intake manifold is stock with the exception of matching the plenum to the bored TB. Stock cam, yes. I wanted the Bisi 2.4 regrind to bring peak power up to the 6-7k range, but time and runs were running tight. Apparently the stock cam will do exactly what I wanted to begin with.

Ive been in a hotel for 7 days now and got a little bored. Here's a little something I threw together on the iPad and then spent 2 hours uploading on crummy hotel WiFi...

It's not a tease, I simply don't have any videos at high boost. The videos I do have were before I was able to wire up the high-boost switch to the ECU, and those were only possible because a co-worker volunteered to ride in the back seat and shoot them. Sorry!

And my ls/VTEC build will be running 10:1 compression as well.. how's the car in vacuum and MPG wise? Did JD have any issues with detonation from the slightly higher than normal compression?

The car is almost perfectly mannered. The clutch doesn't chatter, there's no throttle tip-in or tip-out issues, no hesitation or bogging. Sill draws over 21 inches of vac at idle. My first tank finished off around 25mpg with mixed driving. Once I got used to the car and started beating on it some, I was still averaging over 23mpg. On a highway trip, I could probably hit 30 or more if I didn't get into boost much; the tall gears let me cruise at 2300rpm @ 60mph.

No issues with detonation to mention. He said with the larger bore, detonation wasn't an issue. I think the ceramic coated pistons helped as well.

What octane fuel did you use for the 19 psi pull? I am surprised you could go that high boost with 10:1 CR without any water/meth injection.

Just 93 octane from the pump. That's just one more thing JD accredited to having more displacement. It's funny, everyone is asking the same questions that I asked him with skepticism before we tuned, but everything worked out just like he said it would. Haha He's kind of a big deal as far as I'm concerned. A lot of the Accord guys are even switching to E85 at sub-350 levels because they're having issues, even on their low compression setups.

EDIT: sorry for not getting to your PM yet. I promise Ill reply by the end of the week.

Comparing torque curve and hp bigger stroke will get you more close between the two I liked H23V 15 psi 473 373 I had 95mm stroke

We are running the same engine except mine is 8.7:1 CR. I can not run a lot of advance ignition on my engine because I reach the fuel limit pretty fast at 20+ psi boost on 91 octane so I have to run low ignition timing. It runs good but you have to watch EGT at high boost.

English? I don't understand the relevance here...

What turbo are you using? I understand you're limited to 91 octane, but your numbers are still better than most of the F23 guys, especially with a log manifold and your low compression.

Subscribed! It's good to see someone take the time to analyze a build and not just throw parts at a project because 'that is what he did and he makes xxx power'.

Thanks. It was a learning experience for me, but I had some awesome support from my tuner and the folks at Go-Autoworks!

I am using a Garret GT3071R 0.82 a/r. I have dyno with the stock cam before but my cluth ended up slipping at around 280 whp so we had to stop. I will retune with water/meth next spring.

Yow AFA
I am putting H22 head which with stock block gives me about 8:8:1
K20 SI pistons give me about 12:1
What do you think is a good Off Shelf piston that would give about 10:1?
I know that's what u have which is with stock head using 9:1. Maybe I need some thing a bit higher!?
Ps the video was great bro. Congrats on getting it done. No more time for procrastination.
