The wheel spins so easily and smooth its just amazing, it will spin if you blow it with your mouth softly...crazy. Tail 40mm is on its way .

Int3gra- the Tial wastegate is welded on the exhaust side of the turbo so its one piece. no shaft play in the turbo and I will sell the both for 600 even.

Well if you look at kidkutz compressor housing it's a .70 A/R as opposed to your .50 A/R compressor housing. So the big difference in the size of your 2 turbos, I thought all the GT30 had .70 A/R compressor housings, I know there are a wide variety of trims, 52 and 56 trim compressor wheels, 52 trim is inducer 2.17 and major wheel 3.00 diametee, the GT30 56 trim is 2.25 inducer and 3.00 major. Per the specs and listings of the GT30 I show only the .70 Compressor housing option, I could be wrong though. The GT35 also have .70 A/R housings but the 56 trim is 2.41 inducer and 3.22 major  Ask Vaportrail he may know alittle more than me on this since he is now a dealer for the Ballistic Garrett turbos. I have actually SERIOUSLY considered getting one from him. BTW the GT28 has a .60 A/R housing but that turbo is much bigger than the GT28 HTH

Also Garrett has CHRA(Core Assembly) for the GT30 with 48,52,56, and 60 trim compressor wheels. 48=2.08/3.00, 60=2.32/3.22, and also a GT40 model 64 trim =2.41/3.22 HTH

Art- the GT30 I got is about the same size of my old turbo Garret t3t4, its a direct swap.

Boostedb18c1- I got mine cheap from TNT in LI NY but again I know the owner for a long time and dont know if this is a special deal or what. You can give them a call and talk to JD (owner) to get a quote from him. It never hurt just to ask you know. The number is 631 254 5454

How do you get that to fit? ... My turbo barely fits even with my fan removed.

I think it depends on the manifold design, I have the kooks and as you can see in the pic, there is still alot of room between the block and the turbo.

Oh btw, I've no AC.

i think if you have a log style manifold it WILL be very hard to fit.unless you make some sort of adapter plate to move the manifold out...???

i had to remove my stock fan and purchase a Flex-a-lite ultra low profile push fan to get mine to fit. and a custom manifold wouldn't hurt either...otherwise it'd hit the block

How is clearance going to be on a b-series block with an inline pro manifold and gt30? I've got a slightly thicker fluidyne fan, but no pesky A/C in the way.
