2 PTE JB turbos IN A ROW, same problem.. Gotta be a ******* clue. Lol! For the diehard Precision fans: PTE journal bearing turbos suck *** and super prone to fail.. Prove me wrong.. I feel bad for the OP here because of all this. I give Precision credit for upgrading his old unit because it was discontinued, but, had it not failed out the box to begin with, well, we'd not be having this discussion now, would we?

I'm not sure what route I'm going to go as of now, probably something cheap and another RMA attempt to try and salvage some of my money back.

On a side note, my swirl pot modification seems to have stopped the coolant pushing issue! 😂

Dear god.... Id sell it on the spot once it arrives...Get a holset or BW or even a GTW or STC JB turbo but not PTE JB again...

Hey, I never really post anymore but your thread caught my eye. I used to do HPDE's with 600 whp in my Honda...totally useable! And fun haha (I saw your earlier post).

I also saw you had King bearings. Be careful, they caused some damage in my engine. ACL is the brand to stick with.

On a serious note, Garrett turbo is what I'd tell you to try. I just upgraded to a GTX3582r and made 575 whp on 93 octane. I have my old GT3582r laying around that made 540 whp on 93. If you want it to try or buy, let me know. It was working well when I took it off.

Everything is sold but I figured I'd update. Precision called today and they are going to warranty my CHRA. I'm unlucky but I suppose I'm lucky here?!
