I have decided to go the Garrett route. Now I am stuck between a GT3076r and a
GT3582R. The GTX version is just a little more than I can spend right now and I know it is a better turbo but the money just isn't there right now. My goal of 525 whp is still what I am shooting for. Wont the 3076R be close to maxed out at the power?? That's why I was wondering if I should just go with the 3582R and have a little wiggle room for more power if I wanted it. Thanks for the help everyone I really appreciate it.

What about one of Mac's turbos that utilizes the GTX comp wheels but in a more affordable package?

Anyone use or have any experience with OBX LSD?? Is it even worth buying?? I was looking at the MFactory lsd and then seen this one. There has to be a reason it is so cheap right??

The new OBX LSD's are garbage they basically explode. If you can get your hands on an older unit they hold up well. LS trans ? I have access to and older OBX. Stock axles will hold up if you can drive. Wheel hop will take out an axle quick. Hard Launches will to if not done right and sometimes they just break

Fuel system I'm going with the walbro 416 for e85. FIC 2150cc. FPR and fuel rail haven't decided on which ones yet. I think I will be better off than buying ID1000s. You don't think this is overkill for my power goals??

On the fuel pump and injectors go with the larger 1250cc ID's and the Walbro 400 for E85. 450-500whp maybe a little more and those injectors will be near their max and it sucks having a fuel issue under boost. The 1250cc are not any more pricy so just go big the first time. As for the turbo the 35R will be great, spool up nicely and will make you hp goal. Also I would PM shodan aka Mac about one of his custom made Garrett turbos as well just for more options. I think the Reaper turbo will get you 500whp and will spool up nicely and is a lot cheaper price wise than the 35R. Mac will be of a lot more help than I on that though. I would like to go with one of his Silver Sufer turbos for when I do my pistons rods build and go for 400-450whp, need to boost my stock motor first though LOL. Been too long since I had boost, missing it bad.

I actually talked to him a couple days ago and decided I am going with one of his turbos The Predator. Just waiting until after vacation to start spending money lol.

I just looked at the ID's and I think the injectors your referring to are 1300cc correct?? Also would the Walbro 400 be good enough for my setup?? I also seen they offer the Walbro 416 for e85. But if the Walbro 400 is good enough for my power goals on e85 ill just go with that because it is a little cheaper and any money I can save can just go towards something else.

500whp e85 + 1000cc injectors & stock fuel lines & 225 pump..... I've seen some cars struggle to get into to 500whp

225 + inline pump
or
fbm 320 or walbro 400 would be ideal

I also would talk to others about which IM would be best.
I THINK the skunk2/blox style manifold would be solid for 500whp

turbo?....Speedtrap Turbo Consulting GT3540E is all i can think of right now.

good luck

Yea I was going to go with the walbro 400 and also ID 1300's. You think that will be capable of 500-550whp??

I have no experience with them but the brand of sleeve matters little it is who is installing them that matters. Find a competent shop preferably one who has sleeved blocks before and they will work great.
