ineedavtec's turbo hatch build
I started this build about this time last year and yet to finish it, but since I'm not too far away I thought I'd throw this out there and get your take on it.
I got the shell from my brother-in-law who cracked a sleeve in the car sometime in 05 and never got around to fixing it. Since then it had been sitting in his parent's garage collecting dust. It had 83k on the shell, power windows, locks, 6 disc OEM changer, and multiple guages.
As far as the interior goes, I decided to add some Sparco seats
and an 8pt S & W roll cage that I'm currently waiting on delivery so here's how it sits now
The engine I got from my old roommate from college who decided to get rid of all his parts. It's an 84mm Darton sleeved B18C with Wiseco pistons ~9.0 and Crower rods assembled by ERL.
The head I had done through Evans Tuning and went with Skunk2 Pro series valvetrain and Pro1 cams with GE camgears
For the turbo kit I have a divided T4 Full-Race top mount with a Borg-Warner 8375 1.10ar, Full-Race backdoor intercooler If I remember it's 20x11x3 with 2.5" in and out, Tial BOV, and (2) Tial MVR 44mm wastegates, ET fabbed 3" DP, T1 catchcan. The 1st pic was taken before o2 and wideband bungs were installed.
For the fuel it's an 8an feed and 6an return fed by Aeromotive 340 stealth in tank with modified stock hanger to accept the 8 and 6 lines(thanks Jeff), 044 in line, Edelbrock fuel rail, ID1000's, and Weldon FPR, Edelbrock IM, 76mm Blox TB
I chose S300 with boost control for the engine management, Hondata CPR for the spark, and an Innovate MTX for the wideband Here's a pic of the CPR right before I finished installing it.
Transmission is all stock with the exception of Quaife LSD and CC twin disc
My plan for this was to have a quick street car that I could take to the track every now and then and be somewhat competitive. I don't really have a HP, or time goal, I have a good idea of what I'd be dissapointed in though, but not looking to extend this cars performance to where it is a total pain to drive it on the road.
I'm at work right now and don't have time to finish this write up, but just wanted to get this started so I could have a journal of sorts to follow what all has been done. As it sits now I just need to get a few small things fabbed, install cage, and get it tuned. I plan on getting a 93 and Q16 tune and will edit this post with some results hopefully in the near future.
Here's a few more pics,
I'd Like to add in here a big thanks to Jeff Evans and everyone at Evans Tuning for all the help.

seems more like a track car with the cage, twin disk, and that big *** borgwarner ,alittle much for a "street car"..it is a nice build though

Re: ineedavtec's turbo hatch build
^THANKS!
It's really not that big of a turbo, 60mm inducer & 83mm exducer. I don't know why they call it an 8375, I guess I should know but to be totally honest, my turbo knowledge is not that great. I had some help piecing this together, I told him what I wanted to use the car for and he suggested this turbo, I trust him so I bought it. I'm trying to learn as much as I can though, but there are so many variables to turbo's it seems like it takes a lot of experience to fully understand them, and I'm not there yet.

Re: ineedavtec's turbo hatch build
I am running K's. I thought it looked nice, but I like the idea of something holding the coils in place instead of trimming the mounting holes off and putting foam under the cover and using it to hold them in.
Taking the dash out this weekend waiting on delivery of the rest of my cage to make it a 10pt. I hope to have it installed next weekend and post up some pics.
