Icon2 Idle problem with different injectors

Have a ls turbo. All stock and slapped a little turbo in and am pushing 8 lbs. car ran perfect except for the big full cut when boosting. But other than that perfect. I just put h22 injectors and fuel cut while boosting problem solved. I love it. Boost awesome. Now the prob is my idle is so low it almost dies at stop lights. And start up is low to. Pretty much have to gas it to start it. Cold start and idle are fine. But after a little drivin those problems happen. Any solutions. I know tunnin would be the best but none close to me and don't have the time. Solutions other than that I'm all ears.

So are you tuned now? How are you running bigger injectors and boost without a tune?

New to boosting. Not tuned. Was getting wat I assume was a fuel cut when I was boosting with my stock LS setup. Put h22 injectors and boost like a champ. Now my idle and start up are shitty tho.

Not like a champ. Not at all.

What is happening is you're running very rich at idle with the larger injectors.
The "fuel cut" was either it running mega lean or the ECU freaking out when it saw boost on the MAP sensor.
This should still be an issue unless you have a missing link check valve on the MAP sensor.

You need to get tuned or you will blow the engine

Of course you can fix the idle... It's called "tuning"

So let me get this straight, you thought you were just going to slap a turbo on the car, and it was just going to run fine? Do you even know what your AFR's are under full boost, do you know what your AFR is at idle? Have you checked your spark plugs at all?

So you ran 8 pounds of boost without any fuel
Management at all. Then when it was breaking up you decided you need to just slap in larger injectors and not control them?????????

put the old injectors back, and please let us know when the engine melts down, im curious to see what the inside of an engine looks like when you run one as lean as you are for that long.

I can show you what an sr20 looks like when that happens

Just imagine a skirtless piston with no ringlands with the piston pin wrapped around the rod and the rod is bent into a u... almost looks like a modern art piece lol

Wow, just wow.
And this is why I stop coming here. To many newbies without a brain.

Tune the car or blow the motor the choice is yours.

A few people, including myself try to keep the tech alive but it's hard, especially around tax season when the cheap *** noobs come out
