Re: how much was your turbo setup? (B16Civic93)
when you plan on turbocharging a car plan to spend some money. what ever your budget is add about 3k to it. it just never stops.

Re: how much was your turbo setup? (dome)
This question is always funny to me because some people list just the turbo stuff (turbo/intercooler/wastegate/manifold/etc), while others will include the fuel management (which I realize in this thread was actually requested), clutches, engine internals, etc.
It's tough to break up tho...you wouldn't need all the internals unless you had a turbo right? Of course, you may not need slicks w/o the turbo setup either...so is that a viable addition to "how much you spent?". Just asking questions here.
Anyhow, I have racked up about $2400 on *JUST* turbo parts alone so far, and I still have the little stuff like clamps/oil lines/IC piping/etc.
If you want to add my EMS/fuel system/internals/etc who knows...I don't want to add it up

Re: how much was your turbo setup? (beerbongskickass)
I spent about $3800 or so on the kit. w/o a boost controler $500. and then the motor about $6000 not counting the stuff I needed to replace or upgrade but I'm into it about 20k deep now. LOL and that is foe a SOHC! I will have pics up when it is all finished!! should be in a couple of days

Re: how much was your turbo setup? (Scean)
Everything from rims to turbo to motor setup to seats, etc I have spent around $12,000 on my current build, but probably have around $16,000 in parts.

Re: (Unsivil_audio)
I've spent about $4000 so far, and I still need to spend about $1500. So the grand total will be $5500. But this is including alot of non-turbo parts too, like new shocks, stage 2 axles, fluidyne rad, clutch, traction bars, and exhaust.

Re: how much was your turbo setup? (B16Civic93)
I honestly don't want to know. I have a small brown bag full of receipts that I am putting off looking at. I am making a rough estimate of about $7500+ including initial motor swap.
