Re: help with greddy tdo5 18g
I was going to run the GReddy TD05 18g on my b16a that i had when I first turbo'd it, but found out that it's not able to put out good power without converting it to an external wastegate. You will probably have to run around 18psi or so to get the power you are wanting. Also I had gotten information about this turbo from TheShodan, he said that you could bore the flapper hole on the exhaust housing and make it a little bigger to get more power from this turbo. I hope I have helped you out some with what you needed to know. Goodluck.

I wouldn't boost over 10psi on that turbo with a stock downpipe. It will boost spike like crazy. But the turbo gets the car going pretty well due to almost zero lag. I've got one doing 11.9s in a hatch with gsr (mild build) on 10psi.

I had mine at 12 psi @ 8K rpms and I hit 248whp. The peak boost was 15psi about 5500-6000 rpms and then slowly came down to 12 psi. You will either have to convert to external wastegate or get a custom DP because the one that comes on the kit sucks.

Go to a fab shop. They will be able to design something for you. But first you will have to get rid of your a/c since the compressor is in the way. If you can't get rid of a/c, then you will have to deal with what you have for the moment. Just have fun with the setup.

Re: help with greddy tdo5 18g
you can use a boost controller, but as blaze stated, it will only drop down because the wastegate hole and flapper will put you back down to about 12.
You would need to remove the adapter elbow and get the T25 5 bolt weld flange, then make your own downpipe. The turbo is very capable of over 350whp when pushed, but on your stock engine, you could make over 270whp with the new downpipe.
