But on the other hand if I wanted a topmount that would equal the HP of a GT4088R I wouldnt hesitate to get the best, a full race.</TD></TR></TABLE>

To each his own, but it's still the same concept.

your right, full race is the best no questions about it, but for some reason they lost in pinks and had a intercooler charge pipe blow off and couldnt figure out why they werent making power and lost. Your correct man, there products are the best and never have any issues

every company has problems including full race.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=852443

i will say there customer service though is top knotch and everything is taken care of quickly Same with Brad with S-FAB

Both companies/products are good, its just a person's choice on who or what they want. Both are great products

on another note, not saying full race is bad and i will openly say there products are really good, but no company can say they wont ever have problems with anything they make. things happen and nothing you can do about it. as long as there is a warranty and it gets fixed, who cares who made it? if both make the same power and are made from same materials only differnce is a machine made it vs a human then who cares? Full race, s-fab, ect ect all started out some where right?

Everybody can have issues, it's the likelyhood that each manufacturers part will have issues that's at question. You can't really think that out of 100 pieces from each manufacturer they will all have the same amount of failures?

It all comes down to your time. That lifetime warranty that covers your cracked manifold, how much does that cost you in other ways when it has to come off, be shipped back, and the car sit waiting for the manifold to come back? That's a big headache i like to avoid at all costs...

The taking off of the manifold argument is irrelevant, if its really that big of a hassle for you to take a manifold off of a honda, I'd really like to know who dresses you in the morning.

As for the turn around time, ask anyone who has ordered an s-fab manifold, you might be out of a manifold for a week, tops. And on your 700hp GT4088R setup, I am going to assume you have some other means of transportation or another manifold sitting around that you could put on for the time being.

And this is all assuming that the manifold cracks, it's not going to, so this whole debate is stupid.

That's very true. I know people that bought crap cause it was cheaper but in the end it cost you twice as much when you have to do it again. My last to manifolds were Full-Race and worth every dollar

Full Race makes the nicest stuff hands down because they have the means to do so. If another company bought a robotic tig they would be just as good. If someone is experienced enough to use a welder correctly though there is no since in having a robotic tig. If you back your work up 100% and have faith in it then thats what matters as a fabricator. I give S-Fab props for standing up for his work. He wouldn't even be questioned if it wasn't for pieces of **** like One-Fab and its sad that bad apples like that bring down the good ones. I personally will never own a Full Race manifold because I am with S-Fab, as long as its done right why not save 400-600 bucks and spend it in other places. Full Race S-Fab

all this talk about welding manifolds and no one has brought up the main difference between Full Race and everyone else. engineering. Full Race has full time engineers on staff to keep their products on the forefront of import performance. you can copy their products but you can't copy their technology.

FR ftw.

They blew a hole in one of their couplers. You cant compare a car that was put together in a short amount of time to a companies quality. That car ran hard the first run, then blew a hole in the coupler the 2nd, and lost from there. The HASPORT/FULL-RACE CRX that raced the tube frame turbo & nos vw bug won and that was on a stock internal H22 It ran nearly dead even with a pure drag car; the drag car was only one car length faster. This is all irrelevant though. Buy what you want, everyone has their opinions and I'm glad you do, thats what keeps our democratic-republic society turning. But the sarcasm isn't needed in a post where we are just trying to justify the cost of such a manifold as FR's. It all comes down to personal preference, buy what you want. I know if i wanted a 700+hp car I would go with full race. You would go with S-Fab and because of this I would think they are a top notch fabricators. I'm going to get shitty now happy Saturday night to all y'all.

hasport in the h22a in the crx really got there *** handed to them. In fact because of how bad hasport got there *** handed to them by the bug showed it just wasnt a fair race hince the did another episode and re ran the same race except this time hasport ran a stock gsr they pulled from the junk yard and turbo charged it and ran that in the crx insted of the 12 sec nitrous h22a setup they were running. on a side note im on my way to the store now as well to get beer for everyone who is coming over tonight. have a great saturday night as well.

You act like it's such a complex piece of equipment. It is two large flanges with a series of pipes connecting the two in a certain fashion depending on the design. If you closely copy the way that the pipes are shaped, voila. Do you think they sprinkle magic full race dust on it or something that makes it that much better? No, they don't. I'd love for someone to show me a full race top mount making more horsepower on a dyno than an S fab top mount.

This thread is really getting out of hand.

my personal preference, choose the company that has been around the longest, because they MUST be doing something right.

there are companies that come and go, i don't even want to name them all since there are so many.

spoolin gets my vote.

For those of you who can't see the difference in quality, more power to ya. That's why there are Kias and BMWs, K Mart and Macys, McDonalds and nice steakhouses. Some people learn early in life that there IS a difference in the more expensive things in life, and that generally speaking, you come out better in the long run buying the better part the first time.

Anything in life that requires labor will vary in quality depending who does it. You can take your car to the kid down the street with a welder and get a turbo kit put together, or you could take your car to a professional fabricator. You're likely to get a much better product, at a higher price from the professional. That's all there is to it. Send your business where ever you want. There's enough people in this world to keep everyone busy.

lol you admit that you copy their designs and i noticed that you use a picture of one of their top mount manifolds on your store! http://www.bizlocker.com/s%2Dfab/products.htm hmm if you look closely you can robotic tig welds...

Relax and do your thing but don't promote your products by trying to devalue Full Race's stuff.

Holy **** i think i just wet my self on that one. HAHAHAHAHAH full-race pixy dust HAHAHAHA.

Ok lets calm the nerves in here. This is how it lays out. yes full-race has robotigs which will far out weight a human hand in presentation mainly. If you can weld and know your **** you dont need a fuckking robotig welder to build a quality manifold.

There is alot of **** product out there but S-fab is not one of them. his customer service is second to none. He built my manifold and we had issues with it, guess what i sent it back to him and he made the corrections i asked for my setup and it was done the day he received the manifold andd sent back to me the same day. Thats more then i can say for the customer service i have received with my 8-10 tiimes buying something at full-race. I wasnt pleased with the way things were handled untill i talked to jeff directly. Once i spoke with jeff things got done and i liked that

Im not saying full-race is bad cause man do they make some kick *** stuff and everything i have gotten from them has been top notch. traction bars A+, turbo A+, among many other things.

What it comes down to is what kind of a budget you have. How deep can your pockets go and how much of a fanatic are you abotu the parts you buy. I personally wouldnt dropp 1300 bucks on a manifold even if i did have the money. Its just not worth the extra loot to me. But some people out there feel its nessesary to do so and hey that is there choice not mine.

All in all there are shitty companies that do hack work and good companies that do extrememly well with their products. FULL-RACE S-FAB I think people just need to get off their high horses and let the little guys have their moment. ALso everyone doesnt need to conform to what everyone else does and jump off the damn band wagon once in a while and build your own setups.

I'm not sure if it would be considered jumping on the bandwagon but people usually buy proven products. When people ask the faster people in the sport what they are running, they get a reply and depending on the person they may go buy that same product.

As it's been said before spend your money where every you want and in the end whomever you feel comfortable going with.

A lot of products look similar, but don't perform the same. Not knocking anyones products just stating a fact.

True True good point, i know people running their own made mani's that performs with the best of them. And i know people running top notch full-race stuff and again performs with the best of them. My self and my budy will be putting brads manifolds through ALOT of abuse this season. we have full confidence they will hold up to the challenge and make excellent power.

I couldnt agree with you more that its who you feel comfortable with and wher eyou want your money to go . couldnt put it any better my self

hahaha

This thread is pretty ****** funny!!

My one and only question is why can’t anyone on HT think for themselves?

This thread is full of a bunch of nut riders on both side's (Full-Race and S-Fab).... I bought FR because they are a well established company and have great customer service. I am the type of person who is willing to spend the extra money and not have to worry about getting ripped off whether it is with a turbo manifold or pistons

So let me say this to everyone here get the expletive over yourselves and think on your own and stop riding the bandwagon’s

LOL Hello everyone

First off, i have to say this. FullRace, Tony1, Spoolin Performance, AFI , RLD , NSR, LoveFAB... list goes on. You're all great business' / guys and keep up the good work.

AS for everyone else, this is America... youre lucky to have the right to choose who you want and have a nice selection, no one (or atleast i wont) force a sale on you. Happy Boosting.

I've been gone Rock Climbing all weekend with my GF and havent read the thread, I will later after my shower... just got in.

Dude, we can all see the nice pretty robotic tig welds. We all know that you think it's special. We all realize that those are probably the most fault-free welds that you can get.

What exactly is a professional fabricator? What exactly constitutes being able to say "I am a professional fabricator". By definition, a professional is someone who is paid to do what they do, regardless of what you think of how its done. I swear to god man, if Full Race was a magazine, your copy would have sticky pages.

You sir are a ******* idiot of the absolute highest grade that there is. You are the kind of person that is so profoundly retarded that I am beginning to lose faith in this industry, as well as the human race as a whole.

Seriously, I'm not even going to address that comment. That's not a full race manifold. Period.
