Default GReddy Boosted D16 @ 8psi! dyno results!

I was at the SpeedQuest Dyno Days and decided to dyno my car since I just got a custom 2.5" downpipe, 3" hi flo cat, and 3" thermal catback exhaust.

Setup:
D16Y8
GReddy 19T Turbo Kit
JRC 5" Intercooler
2.5" DP --> 3" Cat --> 3" Thermal
8PSI

Last Years Numbers:
177.75HP and 164.58TQ

This year's best:
185.37HP and 174.27TQ

The Green lines on the dyno chart is my results with the stock GReddy downpipe and GReddy EVO exhaust... the Red and Blue lines is with my new exhaust setup. Midrange power jump alot!! 20ft-lbs of torque at 4500~ rpm, oh yeah!

It's nice to see that comparisson between the stock GReddy DP and EVO exhasut vs. a three inch setup. A lot more midrange and the power doesn't peak and drop as we can see inthe graph. Nice results

did you have any boost spiking with the downpipe?i have a greddy kit on a dohc zc and i want to build a downpipe but heard that it causes spikes. also, i see your in wisconsin, where is speed quest and did they do tuning for you?
im building a 3in exhaust this summer, so this gives me some ideas on the power i could be making.

93turbo16: the air/fuel was at a flatline of 13:1 is that what you were talkin' about??

second edition: yeah i did notice a bit of spiking with my new exhaust setup, but my greddy b spec II boost controller just needs a bit of tweaking...

here's a link to some pictures...

Nice numbers. I think you would benefit from a 3" downpipe as well.

13:1 is pretty lean man, you may want to richin it up a little, but nice numbers .

i was thinking the same thing
13:1 is pretty lean for boost, and when you comapre it to his 12:1 run the 13:1 gained less then 10whp

i would rather go with 12:1 afr

Hey, someone else finally noticed what I was talking about. I would honestly take that **** back and tell them to do it right. 13:1 and you won't have a motor in a few months. Especially if it gets nice and cool.

i have the e-manage as a fuel management, but mysteriously the emanaged decided to make things 13:1 instead of the previously tuned 12:1. i'm not sure how that happened

this dyno graph wasn't a comparison of different runs with different AFR, but rather the difference betweent the stock GReddy Downpipe & GREddy EVO VS. 2.5" Custom DP, 3" HI flo CAT, 3" Thermal Exhaust

yea, that DP and all that junk will more than likely lean you out a bit, but not sure if it would be that much.. you should really richen it up.
