EF hatch with b18 going boost ( radiator question )
What radiator should I get? Im thinking of ditching the oem radiator and going with either a half size radiator from an eg or maybe getting a aluminum one. Also should I use 2 slim fans or one? ive heard of people putting slimfans between the intercooler and radiator and then one where the fan is suppose to go? Im just worried about cooling for the motor while on boost. Dont want to overheat. Just throw at me some basic setups for cooling when going boost on a ef with ls swap

The EG half radiator is too tall for an EF without leaning it which I didnt have room to do. The only radiator I found that would fit is the full race half radiator made for the EF chasis. It was expensive but did the trick. A turbo blanket, lots of heat wrap, and a good fan are a must.

^ thanks. I have heard that you need to cut the crossmember which I dont plan on doing so.. ill look in to some radiators that fit the ef/crx chassis

I think the best way is to notch the core support and use it as a mounting point. Drill 2 holes and use a piece of rubber tube around the studs of the radiator. I also use PWR EF half sized radiators spendy but worth it. It is made for the EF and is a couple inches shorter in height then the civic half size.
