Re: (t66crx)
yes you can do that, but the point I believe someone was making is that the map sensor cannot read boost past a certain point... thus you cannot setup a working boost cut at pressures it cannot read. well you can it just wont work.
and how did you figure your uncorrected #'s to be 550... see the post below I quoted.

(1.21*x=506)
(506/1.21=x)
(x=418.2)

its called you have more power when you go down in elevation. i am over a mile high up here in colorado. so your using the wrong calculation.

im getting golden eagle sleeves and i will have my turbo on with more bosst. yeah that is a world record aint it for the highest hp stock sleeved d series. i think the world record for the highest hp on any sohc is 565 and he has a gt35r with 34psi. i almost matched his hp with 27psi

I think that you are partially misunderstanding what correction factors a bit here, your contradicting yourself... your number will be lower uncorrected because of your elevation, not higher. The correction factor is to compensate for the altitude and weather conditions.

Well your gauge reads gauge pressure and your map sensor reads absolute pressure. That probably had something to do with your problem.

guage pressure is just the amount of boost your running.
absolute pressue is the amount of boost your running+atmospheric pressure (14.7psi), this is what your map sensor reads.
Either way, badass #'s
hope to see you come back better than ever

You almost matched his HP with 27psi because you're at really high elevation and the dynojet is way, way overcorrecting for you. I bet you'd actually make about 450 dynojet WHP at sea level SAE corrected. The correction factor is just way off at altitude.

i don't consider using a block guard as stock even though you did not replace the sleeves. your torque follows more of a B series motor than a D. my D makes within 100 torque of the HP it makes or less. so for examply i did 436/358 you are claiming 504/25x something is definatly not right here.,

if you look at my trq its almost 300 so i dont know where you got 250 from. and i had a q-trim f1 turbine housing with a normal q-trim turbine wheel in it cu i borrowed my friends turbo. my turbo was broke. so the clearence in the turbine housing was not to spec
