What is the lowest amount of boost you wish to run ? That is the answer to your question.

depends on the total amount of boost you want to run and the method of controlling it, are you using Co2?

what ever spring you choose make sure you switch to a JS boost controller for perfect boost control and yes s300 can control the dual stage versions if you dont want to use a switch.

You definately wont even get close to that with 6psi springs w/o Co2, I would think 1 bar springs should get you close......

Why would someone switch from S300 boost by gear to that junk your pedaling?

OP, I'd suggest anything from 10-13 psi depending on what kind of boost you want to run in first gear.

i dont know if you can still find it or not but i had the same question with same gates and same target boost and there was a really informative thread that came out of it with pictures and diagrams explaining how i got my results but i ended up getting over 25 psi from one 3 psi spring in each gate with more testing still to come i think i can go higher and i was able to turn it down to around 5 psi . i was told and argued with that you couldnt get more boost than double what your spring was rated at. i proved this wrong by a lot, its all about how you route the lines and maybe adding a second solenoid. i was pushed hard to buy a co2 kit but i still dont think ill need it to get to 35psi. search around in this forum for the thread i dont remember the name but it was around last fall. unfortunately the thread ended with me having a hurt engine that i have yet to tear down but the info is there!

edit: here i found it for you https://honda-tech.com/forums/forced-induction-16/dual-tial-44mm-wgs-not-opening-help-2426232/ the first page or two is arguing about wg placement which i also proved my case on but theres still good info that could help you out. hope it helps and maybe you can continue the testing!

So that technically means you can't run lower then 1bar of boost correct? Do you have trouble putting that power down in first?

We have FWD cars with huge amounts of power, there is no laying down the power in 1st gear....... I didnt even make 14psi in 1st or 2nd gear I spun so hard on slicks there was no load to build the boost.

With that being said I have 10psi springs in my new Tial 38mm MVS's but I am running AEM and its supposed to have a much better PWM driver that can make 3x to 4x spring pressure according to my tuner.

I dont know, I think the solenoid frequency is the Smanager software is non-adjustable, which will probably affect the total amount of boost you can make.

Typically you can make 2x spring pressure, sometimes more.
