a bit OT but do most of those manifolds above use mild steel head flanges? i was told that stainless was bad to use because of expansion issues

For the money probably not I'd go LoveFab, even though I am undecided as to whether or not equal length manis actually produce more power or a significantly quicker spool time. Would of loved to see the manifold shoot out.

Well good power can be made with either. A log can make over 600, some may not believe that, but whatever. Both ways are proven though.
