release date?<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Synapse &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Here's what pricing is going to look like:

WG001 40mm: $285 without flanges and hardware, $325 w/ flanges and hardware
WG002 50mm: $379 without flanges and hardware, $429 w/ flanges and hardware

Remember, these are full published retail prices. I know what you can get x for from your buddy that owns a shop etc. This is retail. For the distributors reading this, trust me when I say that this is a product with margin built-in for distributors.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Its not that we can get an X brand from our buddys shop but we can it anywhere for ~$100 less than your retail (including all harware). Now we obviously have no idea what kind of pricing well actually see but dont you feel that when introducing a new product to the market that it has to be able to beat competitor pricing?
Maybe a group intro pricing for Honda-Tech?

Like I said, it is FULL retail. Jobber pricing was designed to be competitive with what the prices are out on the market right now. But take a look at what other products are at full retail and you'll see that it is very competitive with their retail pricing, I've had distributors pre-screen these prices. This product is also designed to sell on features and performance, not to compete solely on price alone, that can be bought on eBay, anytime, anywhere, but technology and innovation cannot.

Never thought about it that way. But now that you mention it, damn good idea, we'll do something like that for Honda Tech. Don't email in yet, I'll say when and what the number is.

Good job throwing that out there, I like it.

yea, i'd go for something like that. isn't it cool to design something new when everyone says that everything's already been done for our cars?

The May issue of Turbo has a pretty good write-up and explanation on the wastegate. It is the one that just hit the newstands.

Ok, here's the deal, I've finally got some thermal data back that I was waiting on from the lab, so we've got product coming in a few weeks. We'll have about 25 each of 40mm, 50mm and BOV available for sale. About 3 weeks after another few hundred of each in stock.

If you're interested in one of the above send an email to:

info@synapseengineering.com, subject: ht deal

specify which product you are interested in and we'll get one set aside for you, we'll figure out the specifics of the HT deal when they're ready to ship, but it will be significantly discounted to get some early adopters a head start on playing with the product.
