Default Any thoughts on Twisted Motion turbos?

So i found a local-ish guy selling a new turbo and cast iron log manifold. Ive never heard of this brand til today and Im wondering if anyone has tuned a car with one, has a homie with one, or has one on their own car. Thanks in advance.

Looks like they sell a bunch of knock off turbos. Steer clear of it if you value your motor.

Buy nice or buy twice at least. I have rocked off brand turbos in the past, they may have lasted a couple years, but maybe 5k miles before smoking, or other issues.
Find TheShodan on here, he'll steer you in the right direction.

Thanks guys. Im a honda-tech lurker of 15 years and I've read a lot of the shodans posts as well as many turbo builds (boosted94gsr, d-rob, etc). Anyway, i was and still am pretty set on a go autoworks kit with a super 60. I just happened to see this guy on Facebook selling this turbo and figured I'd see what the h-t community thought.

JUNK! If it isn't a Garrett, Borg Warner, or Holset, don't bother with it.

Some people also buy Precision, but I wouldnt bother with them...heard one too many bad stories about their lack of longevity.

10-4. I figured hey it's $400, gotta be better than cx racing or other eBay turbos, right? Guess I'll stick with goautoworks.

Since I already have a thread going, id love opinions on turbo selection. I'm looking to get the basic goautoworks street kit. The default turbo is a t3 super 60 .63ar. the engine I'm boosting is a stock b18b with an ls transmission. My power goal is 300whp. I won't be turning up the boost with whatever turbo i pick. If I want more power, I'll build the engine and buy a bigger turbo.
Anyway I feel like a t3/t4 50 trim would be the perfect turbo just based on research I've done. However, this is my first turbo build, I've always been an all motor/nitrous guy, so I could def use some direction. So... turbonetic T3 super 60 or Garrett t3/t4 50 trim?

go with goautoworks garrett will run you about $600 and wont self destruct like the china crap. greg likes to sell the turbonetics stuff and for the most part people that go that route are not disappointed with them but I would go 50 trim garrett

Option C: Journal Bearing Garrett GT28 - T3 5 bolt .63 A/R 350HP+ : atpturbo.com

Otherwise, i'd probably go with the Super 60

Ebay
godspeed
etc..

ITS ALL JUNK!
