Default 97 civic turbo build

Hey everyone, Before i start off i wanna say that im very new to the turbo world. This will be my FIRST turbo build and i wanna do everything right. Im looking to build a daily driven boost civic and with your help i wanna be able to accomplish this. With that being said ANY AND ALL feedback and suggestions are more then welcome. Negative or positive i would like your opinion on it.
Ok guys i bought a 97 civic a few weeks back for 600$ has a rebuilt title and bought it off a kid who needed money. Jacked the car up and was changing the tie rods and found out that its got koni struts all around so figured with all this i wanna make this car my permanent daily. But not too happy with the horsepower so going to start a turbo build. My car has around 200k on the motor and transmission. So far ive done alot of research on turboing my car but i still have a few missplaced areas. for starters i thought it would be a good idea to start with this http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/gostkit.html
I am planning on buying a d16 block/head and getting the machine work done at a local shop. im wanting to bore the block .020 over and have the vitara 75.5mm pistons and eagle h beam rods installed at the shop as well as have the crankshaft resurfaced. as far as the head im thinking a port and polish and am wondering if i will need to get stronger valves and etc. I wasnt planning on getting a bigger cam but im curious if a brian crower cam stage 2+ would be better in terms of horsepower gains to cost. I had in mind getting some dsm 450cc injectors as well as a skunk2 fuel rail as for the tranny im kind of stuck on what i need to do with it. It has 200k miles on it so idk if i would be better off having a transmission rebuilt or getting a junkyard tranny. My goals for the car are 300whp so im wanting around 340bhp can you guys give me some advice on the idea of the build so far. I have around 4000$ im wanting to spend on this build and i can do more if i have to but im wanting to buy things wisely. Thank you for all your time and reading this, Everything that is said will help me out tremendously whether it be negative or positive.
