FS: WHITE 2001 ACURA INTEGRA LS 3D MANUAL.
Up for sale is my white 2001 Acura Integra LS MANUAL 3D with 131,000 miles. VIN: JH4DC435415005102. I have owned this car since February 2008 at which point it had just over 78,000 miles. This is my first and only car. After initially purchasing the car I had plans of one day building it into the ultimate Daily Driver and keeping it FOREVER. However, here I am 7 years later and things have changed. I recently got married and plan to start a family which requires a four door vehicle. I initially planned to keep this car as a “project car”, but that is not financially possible for me. In the 7 years that I have owned this car I have maintained it. The car has been babied because I took it for what it is, a low and slow cruiser, not a race car. Up until 2 years ago the car was garage kept. The car has very light modifications done to it. Mechanically it’s almost completely stock. I know modifications don’t add value to a car but I will post approximate costs of parts to give any prospective buyers an idea of what it cost me to get the car to where it is today. Modifications are as follows:
Engine and Related:
-K&N Air Filter ($50.00).
-DIY Ice Box.
-Vibrant Muffler ($110.00). Car came with a fart can I had to replace or this would probably be stock.
Interior:
-12” 1200W Phoenix Gold RSDc Subwoofer in custom (built to spec) ported box ($200.00).
-Hifonics 600W RMS Amplifier ($100.00).
-6.5” Phoenix Gold RSD Door Speakers X 4 ($100.00).
-Sony Head Unit ($100.00).
-Buddy Club Racing Spec Type A Shift **** ($40.00).
Suspension & Wheels:
Ground Control Coilovers WITH Extended Top Hats AND Koni Yellow Shocks ($1200.00)
XXR 521 16 X 8 +20 in Flat Black ($550.00).
Nitto NeoGen Tires 205 40 16 ($350.00). About 40% tread remaining.
Maintenance:
-Timing Belt and Water Pump and other miscellaneous seals were replaced at 110,726 miles on 03/28/2012 using OEM parts. The only non-oem part used was a Golden Eagle cam seal as I wanted the metal seal over the plastic OEM seal. ($220.00 in parts + $300.00 in labor).
- NGK Plugs & Wires, Radiator & Fluid, OEM Transmission fluid, OEM Fuel Filter and the battery All replaced within last 20,000 miles.
-Oil changed every 3000 miles with Castrol.
-Plenty of other maintenance items I’m forgetting to list and also items replaced as needed such as axels, wheel bearing, brakes, etc.
Misc:
-Car was professionally repainted white in 2010 which cost me $2500.00.

Dented Passenger Fender.
PROS:
-Burns ZERO oil. I have never had to add oil between changes and have never seen it smoke.
-Transmission has ZERO grinds and works flawlessly.
-Mechanically this car is SOLID and is ready for at least another 100,000 miles.
-Car is wingless and has no nasty spoiler holes.
-NO NATARIOUS TRUNK LEAK. ($50.00 in OEM taillight gaskets and reconnecting a drain tube).
-Manual.
-Black Interior.
CONS (Full-Disclosure, most of which can be expected from a 13 year old car):
-In December of 2012 I struck a small deer which ruined the paint on the front bumper, dented the passenger side fender, and ruined my Comptech front lip. There are also a couple small chips in the paint. Despite this the car is still cleaner than 90% of the Integra’s you see on the road today.
-The leather driver’s seat has succumbed to the Florida sun. The carpet has some stains and the door panels could use some love.
-Clutch master cylinder has a very slow leak. It’s an easy fix that I never got around to.
-AC works but could use a recharge.
-Rebuilt title. I purchased the car this way.
Sorry for the long post I’m just trying to summarize the last 7 years of my vehicles life and I’m sure that there’s plenty that I forgot. Overall this car has been great to me and I’m sad to see it go, but it is time. I hope to find someone who’s willing to give it a good home, take care of it and care for it the way I have.
