The body:
The body of the car is probably a 5/10. The whole car is a primer black. No real big dents in any panels, surface rust in the usual spots, you can tell some bondo work has been done in areas, one of the quarters has a golf ball size dent, but the welded on panels are in great shape for such an old car. One of the fenders might be better off just being replaced rather than fixed as they are pretty cheap and easy to find. The rear bumper also has a good size dent on the left corner where it looks like someone backed into something and then tried pulling it back out, again probably easier to just replace that.(can be seen in one of the pictures) It is an Si shell, however, the previous owner decided to eliminate the moon/sun roof, so its been filled over. It does have a non si headliner in the car so unless you knew it was supposed to have a moon/sun roof you would never know. It could also use new tires. Two of them have decent tread left, but they are all just old and not the best.

The interior:
Id say a 7/10. Front seats forward are complete, behind them is stripped. Dash is in great shape. Center console is in great shape. No radio, has a factory honda oem radio delete plate. The common cracked climate controls have been replaced and the heat/controls work great, with the exception of not being able to control if the air blows out of the defroster or vents, its stuck on the vents.(the pictures in the album are old without the climate controls and radio plate) The steering wheel cover came off but is a cheap fix also. OEM floormats are pretty beat up, the carpets after a fresh vacuum are not too bad. The seats have the classic side bolster tear in them, but otherwise are in good shape.

The rundown:
I do NOT want to get rid of this car. But I cannot afford to keep it either. So instead of seeing it just sit there I hope someone will buy it and love it like I do. The issue right now is the turbo. The bolts holding the housing to the center section vibrated themselves loose and the housing came into contact with the wheel, as you can imagine thats not good for the turbo. Bent the shaft, tore up the wheel and killed the seals. It runs and drives great but no boost, as the seals are gone and it cant build boost. It needs a new turbo, you could rebuild this one but it will cost more than its worth(IMO), unless you have the knowledge to do it yourself. I just dont have the money for a new turbo, Ive fallen on to difficult times and cant afford to fix it. Id much rather sell it boosting as it should because one drive in this thing at 12-14psi will blow you away. It is scarey fast. Ive never lost doing a highway pull against any car and/or motorcycle.(I pulled away from a GXSR600 at 150mph with an extra person in the car one night.) That is the fastest Ive been in any car. The guy on the bike is my brother-in-law and he will vouch for it(reluctantly). The only other issue is an CEL(check engine light) for code 9. Its the cyp sensor in the distributor. For the engine management to tune with, we had to covert the car from obd0 to obd1 which includes converting the distributor to an obd1 distributor. I did not have the correct conversion harness at the time so we de-pinned the connector on the obd1 distributor to an obd0 harness plug, well the sensor wire wasnt pinned correctly so it throws the code. I did buy the correct conversion harness and an oem distributor and hooked it up and the code does go away. It was however tunned with the code present which on a honda tells the ecu to run in "limp" mode, which is a different set of parameters, so it was tuned with a different set of starting parameters and with the correct stuff it throws everything off and you actually lose power as a result. So I put it back how it was with the hopes of one day getting a quick adjustment to the tune to get rid of the CEL. That is the ONLY two issues with the car. Everything else runs and drives awesome. Its my baby. There is 10k invested in the engine/tranny/turbo setup. I dont know what else to tell about the car, feel free to ask any questions. Email or phone. If I dont answer leave a message and I will call you back. I really hope to find a good home for her. And for the price even if you just plan on pulling the engine/tranny/turbo setup out and putting in into a clean shell it cant be beat.

Asking $3900 or best offer. Feel free to check it out and make an offer, Im resonable.
Thanks.
