Default SManager Help Error on Windows 8

I just bought a new laptop Windows 8 I downloaded SManager and for some reason I get this error "S-MANAGER NAN is not a valid floating point value" It wont let me open the program. Iv been going back and forth with Hondata but they take a long time to respond and this has been going on for the past 2 weeks...If anyone can help Id appreciate it.
Thanks

I googled your error and found this thread talking about your issue. There is also a 2nd related thread linked in this thread.

I had the same problem with a Windows 8 laptop I just bought too. What I did to fix it was go to This PC>OS C: >Users>"your name">AppData>Local>Hondata>SManager then you have a list of amber cluster.display, dyno tuning.display, etc and click on SManager. It will open up SManager in Notepad and just scroll down through there and any value where it says =NAN you change the value to 0 then save. So if it says 'Lambda5=NAN' you change it to say 'Lambda5=0'. Btw this is a zero, not the letter o. Your SManager should open up everytime no problem, just make you find all the NAN values and change them to 0 or it won't work. Hope this helps!
