Pilot ECU's: Swappable within year-to-year?
I have checked the P/N's on Pilot ecu's and there are part number differences between 4x2 and 4x4 as well as trim level LX vs EX (no DX in pilot line, all automatic tranny's).
I'm wondering what extent is it possible to swap an ecu and have the vehicle run correctly through it's RPM range? To my knowledge the LX and EX trims produce the same max power and torque although it's possible there could be some inter-RPM torque differences...(maybe the 4x4 LX+Ex+4x2 EX has a slightly more aggressive torque curve to make up for additional weight?).
Here are the part numbers. Anyone have any thoughts?
2007 4x2 LX: 37820-RYP-A56
2007 4x4 LX: 37820-PVJ-A82
2007 4x2 EX: 37820-PVJ-A82
2007 4x4 EX: 37820-PVJ-A81
Thanks in advance!
