No injector signal after chipping ecu (car wont start)
What up people,
I just chipped my ecu and installed my demon RTP and now it wont start.
Here are the details:
93 Hatch with stock Turbo LS.
P06 ECU with Demon RTP installed.
The car would start fine with another chipped ecu that I had the car. So Im certain its an ecu problem.
Check engine light does come on for two seconds and primes the fuel pump just as its suppose to.
But I don't thing the ecu is creating an injector pulse.
I pulled the distributor off the motor with the wires still connected and I turned it by hand to see if I could hear the injectors pulsing. Instead I hear a humming noise coming from the injectors. (this makes me wonder if the ecu is just forcing an injector to stay on.
Also I am able to connect to the Demon just fine with my computer and I am able to see all the engine parameter with the key in the on position with the engine off. I can even press the gas pedal and watch tps values change accordingly.
After inspecting the soldered joints on the back of the ecu I think they look pretty good. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

what injectors are you using, and do you have a resistor box installed or some form of injector resistor cluster?

Its your rtp settings. If it worked before and not now after changing chips you may want to turn off the injector drive circuit test. I'm not sure if Neptune has that option since I don't use Neptune.

Im not sure if this feature is inside of neptune but I doubt that it is the setting because I am running the same nlc. file.

It's not the soldering job. That would leave you in limp mode if it wasn't working properly and you wouldn't be able to datalog real-time values. If you're not seeing RPM or Fuel Value during cranking the issue is what I mentioned on the NepTune forum. Distributor, wiring, or ECU itself.
