k24a2 ecu without the drive by wire
whats good ht, im in the process of getting a build started as follows:
k24a4 block(element)
k24a2 head(tsx, might i add im the luckest on ebay! great condition all sensors $260)
rsx type-s oil pump(i know the whole chain guide spill)
rsx type-s intake manifold
eagle rods
crv pistons or aftermarket
every thing else stock or supported mods.
note: will be running crv pistons for the piston to valve clearance issue, am i right about doing this. do i have the option of running tsx pistons? Yes, the head will be resurfaced.
My main problem is the damn ecu. can i get away with running the tsx ecu and just run a crv throttle body. i was thinkin about k20tuned.com doc ecu but why not get the map thats closest to the motor, which would be a stock tsx ecu. I was looking at a aem fic $325 for light boost(400hp)(KPRO IS NOT AN OPTION!, when im finally set for high levels of boost and I got the money then i'll look towards that route)
thanks for the input and advice.
