chrome launch control will not work!!?
it is on the chip i had it double checked. set to 5k but when i go to hit the gas it just revs way past it. car is a 93 honda civic si, and launch control has never worked, im running out of options i have unplugged the VSS and i have also unlooped the neutral safety switch. has anyone else run into this problem?
and when i say it has never worked i had a p28 that was chipped with a b16a it didnt work. now i have a completely different chipped ecu with a fully built lsvtec turbo setup, i would like to get this to work for the track and not sure whats going on.

I am assuming he unplugged the vss to make sure the ecu is getting a speed signal of 0 mph for testing purposes.

Have you tried going WOT? Sometimes people set the TPS% too high and if you're babying the gas pedal, it won't engage.
If you've tried everything else and haven't gone WOT, I bet that's why.

im pretty sure speedfactory who tuned it uses chrome pro. im pretty sure i have gone WOT i mean pedal to the floor and it just revs to 10k. there is no way of knowing what they set the tps at without reading the chip right?

Re: chrome launch control will not work!!?
I didn't see that part^
If it works in someone elses car, I am thinking with the above, definitely something to do with the car.
What is affected with launch control, Crome should use a fuel cut system instead of ignition cut (or else you'd have nice flames out the rear LOL). Could have to do with wiring I am thinking.
I would try a friends ECU with my chip in it as well, to 100% single out it being your car.
Look at your pins on the connector to the ECU, make sure none are bent, grounding out on another, missing, loose (sometimes common with jumpers), etc.

Re: chrome launch control will not work!!?
pretty sure it is my car because i had this problem before with a different motor and ecu setup. now i am fully tuned on chrome pro and it still wont work, i have depinned the ac and it still wont work unless i did it wrong which i really dont think i did, im so frustrated with this as race season is here again and would love to be able to use it. not that the old fashion method isnt good i would like to have launch control lol
