Car wont idle once warm
Not sure if this would be tune related but figured i would put it here if it is.
So with my street/drag car usually will give me alittle **** after beating on it say at the track, make a couple passes get the car hot doesnt want to idle great. Now usually if i drive a bit it will clear up so i never really thought much of it.
Tuesday i took the car to the track, noticed it getting warm in the staging lanes. Pop hood fan isnt turning on so think to myself ok fan took a dump no big deal, continue about my day dont think much of it.
Now just yesterday hard wire the fan turns right now, which sucks cuz i ordered a fan tuesday and it just showed up lol but anyways. Hard wire fan to a switch take it for a drive everything works fine as usual. Park car go out again about an hour later. At first everything is fine then suddenly car starts to idle at 1800rpms. Pull back on pedal thinking something was hangin up but no. Bring it home, turn off car, unplug tps plug back in. Car fires but wont idle.
Ive swapped iacv, played with tps position, checked timing, swapped fpr, new plugs, and the only thing that will get the car to run is if i adjust the throttle stop screw to hold the idle at like 12-1800rpms. Now the car drives great just when i let off gas and push clutch in rpms drop catch for maybe half a second and then dies if it doesnt just die.
Sorry for long read but if anyone has any idea of things to check or what to look into if it be tune wise or parts wise please let me know im at my wits end with this thing.
Thanks all.

Any cel's? When did u get the tune performed? Sounds like a fueling issue. I know u said it has new plugs but have u checked them since this problem started?

1. Install a wideband oxygen sensor on the vehicle to determine the air fuel ratios
2. Monitor how much vacuum the motor is pulling at an idle.
3. Complete a compression test
4. Take the car back to your tuner if the compression test is ok, but the vehicle's air fuel ratios are appearing to be the culprit to your idle issues.

Re: Car wont idle once warm
I have a wideband on it at all time when driving everything seems completely normal, but like i said i cant get an idle so i cant see what its sitting at when idling. Normally at idle the car would sit pretty rich 11s - 13s. I had the car tuned last season and things just seemed to start popping up this season. Ill have to chat with my tuner and get his *** in gear.
Also vacuum from what i can see seems perfect i think im about to go to a compression test quick just to get rid of that thought.

OK put other fpr on car started running pretty well. Drove it a couple times today. First time idle was right around 900, next time like 1100, then 1200 and just now 1500. I dont understand wtf is going on. Any ideas throw them at me.
