AEM 1010 W/ EPM, KSeries COP setup
I am trying to run the following setup:
AEM Series 1 - 1010
AEM EPM
K Series COP
I am not using the twin fire box as this is not required with the k series coil packs. From T1's installation instructions, some modifications to the AEM EMS is required.
From T1's installation instructions:
"Now you must setup the ECU itself for the new trigger signal. If you have
an older AEM box, models 1000, 1010, or 1020, then some resistors need
to be added to the board. You can send your EMS to AEM or to T1 for
these modifications"
Does anyone know exactly what resistors need to be installed and exactly which jumpers need to be moved? I am having trouble finding any information on this as the AEM forums are down.
Something like this but 1010 specific: https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3091520

What you need done is a Hall Mod. AEM will not disclose the information for you to do. You will have to send it in and have it done by AEM. I believe the cost associated with the MOD is $125

Hey there,
This is Ryan. I am sorry to hear that I could not answer everything for you. Maybe I misunderstood or couldn't explain in a way that we could both understand. I know BMW's pretty well, I am still learning the intricacies of the Hondas! As far as inside knowledge goes for Hondas, as mentioned, the emstech@aempower.com email is a great way to go. If there is anything I can do help out, let me know.
Thanks

You kept telling me everything was in the instructions download and the download was missing info or didn't pertain to the coils I was using.
Also the plugs you said I could use were not the right plugs and I have about 32 plugs I have no use for now lol
Its all good no hard feelings. I'm sorry for calling you a dumb *** lol
