what is the size comparison to that Borg Warner 72mm & the old bullseye s372. I'm interested in getting one I just want to know if it would fit my manifold.
thanks in advance

Great looking work guys im loving the fuel cell! But I have a question/concern about the bracing to support the turbo and manifold. It looks like the support is tied directly to a traction bar cross bar. If that's the case are you expecting the engine to not move at all? Even solid mounts allow a little flex so what are you doing to stop the support from tearing itself apart?

Its a 9.5" cover. Depending on the cover of your S372. Some are 9",9.5", and 10"..

Did they change the rule on fuel cell location? The 2013 rulebook on the OGS facebook says stock location or trunk area. If this was a change to the rule I would love to move my cell to a similar location and make use of the space I have up front.

All the fab work looks awesome btw, I love the turbo placement.

Man I hope your wrong because I just put mine up front lol. Also last time I checked there had to be a crash bar around the cell and I dont see one here.

Good question and valid concern as the engine will indeed still move. In actual use though we've used this type of bracing plenty of times on several different cars with no issues over the last few years. That being said the engine/trans will also be tied into that solid frontal cross bar and other areas of the chassis as well so it will all be tied together.

As far as I know you are correct on the most recent OGS rules version I've seen. Since they are the only ones requiring it to be in the rear of the car we are building it to where it is legal for every other race we run. When this car is run at an OGS event it will have a fuel cell in the rear as well to satisfy those rules.
