First of all I would really like to give a special thanks to Tony1 and Chris Stein for all their hard work and help they have given me. Without you guys I'd be so lost! Also, thanks to Chuck Seitsinger for over nighting me his clutch he used all last season. I owe you big time!! A special thanks to all my friends and family that were at the race. Its always good to see you guys.
We finally found power in the car. After hours on the dyno this season(over 100 dyno pulls as a matter of fact), 222 miles on the odometer and numerous 1/4 mile passes we were on the same engine all year. This engine took a hard beating and we have finally have figure out our problems. The car still has a lot left in it. Not bad for a small motor. Only thing changed was the computer, went from Autronic to Motec.
On the 10.2 pass the clutch was slipping really bad. It felt sooo good and car went really straight.
Next round I got too excited and thought I could shift like chuck and went from 1-2 then 2-1. I didnt think you could do that, but I did. I still had good oil pressure but it sounded like a wrx and I drove it off of the track. But the did cluth the slave cylinder in half and I did a little indo. According to the data log it went from 12,7000 rpm!!
Now its time to get ready for next season on a bigger motor. No more of this 81mm BS....

Re: (OaksRacing)
Thanks guys. I'm happy to be a part of the best class in import racing (i still call it import, sport compact sounds gay). lol I'm also very happy for Art, after a full year of hard work and less than stellar results, the problem has been fixed and quicker times are right around the corner. I've never seen Art as happy as he was when he came around after that first pass. I ran before him so i didn't know what he ran yet. You would've thought he ran a 9 by the look on his face! I look forward to racing with all you guys this year, and thanks for the support.
