update on Arturbo and Tony1
Just got off the phone with Art. After the first round Art was the #1 qualifer with a 10.22@147 and Tony also ran a 10.50@150 mph. Tony's numbers might not b e exact cause my cell phone sucks. I do know Art hurt his motor and tranny in 2nd round qualifying and is out for the rest of the day. Congrats to Art for running a new personal best and obviously finding new HP in the car somewhere. Good job Art and Chris and Tony!!!!!

It was a good day overall for the T1/Arturbo camp. Art did hurt the motor but I will let him elaborate on that but he was on a tear when it broke.

Re: update on Arturbo and Tony1 (Clayton)
Just got back from the race. Thanks Clayton for posting the update.
The race was an Import Face Off event in San Antonio.
Miss-shifts happen, it sucks, but it is time to refresh this motor anyways. It has definitely had its share of abuse over the past season. To be honest we are still giddy about coming off the trailer with the 10.22. It was still a fun day of racing. Congratulation's to Johnny Tran. I think he is 2 for 2 in San Antone.

Is he gonna be in the third installment of The Fast and Furious?
Art called me earlier today and I was VERY HAPPY for him! I am glad that MoTec system exhaust is working out for him
I know Art will get the motor back up quick and get racing soon and be very competitive this year!
Tony congrats also, I hope the owner is happy again, sorry to hear about teh turbo probs prior to the race.

Art congrats on the 10.22 pass! 147 is definitely an improvement already from last season. Time for a bigger motor now?
