TX2K15 Gringo runs an 11.327@147.83 on 225/50/16 R888 lolz
So i went back down to TX2K again this year. It was held at Royal purple raceway this time, which was honestly badass!
I had some boost control issues and the Ecu kept glitching and couldn't pull logs half the time.
Basically 50% on my boost controller is normally am at = 30psi...
Well down there, 32% = 33psi... 20% =26psi and 0% = 22psi.. lol
I didnt have time to check it, and to be honest **** ripped so i kept it how it was LOL..
Anyway i was totally going to run slicks, but of course i made the 40hr drive (well i flew but the cars were trailered haha) and forgot some big parts i need... Since i have the 6 piston Wilwood brakes it uses different brake lines.... So i couldnt toss my small brakes back on. SO off to street tires i go!
So first pass:
Felt good after the pass, other than slamming revlimiter in 2nd hard.
Got the slip and totally surprised me!
2nd pass, felt "faster". and sure Enough :
3rd pass, i really slipped the clutch a little more and 1/2 throttled it in 1st an well:
Felt pretty good to go that fast on an R888. The car will actually pick up 10mph or so on Slicks alone!
Some recent pics of the car:
Ill post some better cooler pics Super Street Online posted when i get off the plane lol.

I saw a video of you and the porsche and it sounds like it's time to try a better tire.
BTW love the car, keep up the good work

Problem was, TC wasn't working for one. And i didn't realize i was brake boosting 26psi in 3rd lol. And when it HIT it hit hard.
After I started brake boosting and kept it around 15psi it hooked much better

Time for a front end! I bet some improved aero around front tires would help. I've also noticed an improvement when I went to a 235/50/15 on a 15x8 from a 225/45/16 on my 16x7s. Those are 16x8's right?

agree i just recently put the 235-50-15 r888 and i pushed 550-600whp in 3rd mustang dyno number btw and no problem with hooking depending on condition and i am pretty sure i can put more in 4th i only have 650whp so really cant try it out not yet at least hahaha soon though fuel upgrade needed
