traction bar with rad foot/turbo support provsions.(tegg) Q's
First FI Honda not a stranger to them in general though, have no choice but to use a half rad and I don't feel safe not using some support for the turbo with this forward facing manifold. I've found traction bars by full-race that have a turbo support BUT since the integra came with a full rad the one foot is way too far over, welding is not an option where the car is being stored. I've heard that there are traction bars that have a foot in place for a half rad in a integra but cant find any, 2nd I'm pretty positive I won't need to cut my lower rad support(pte 5858 .63 ar) BUT if I do will having the traction bar in be good enough?. By no means am I going to "really" race this thing it's just a project I think looks good so I'm not worried about body flex/twist from too much power.
if no bars come with an extra foot I could take the bar to get the foot welded on, but not the oem lower rad supportt.

just found them thanks , I guess you drill through the bar looking at them? even if they have to be welded that fine. Anyone have input on cutting the lower section out, will the traction bar be ok instead of the lower section, probs won't have to but "if".

The ktuned brackets come with a clamp that bolts onto the bar, kind of like an exhaust clamp so you can mount it at any angle.

the forward facing setup will be fine without a support. A good manifold design goes a long way.

manifold is most likely going to be the sheepey "mini-outlaw" I still wouldn't feel safe with a fullsize and a 20 lb turbo(maybe it's lighter), that's basically my fear is that the studs will snap from the leverage point being much further out then a ram horn. again new to a FI Honda thanks for your reply

Fine with the stock flange studs? the turbo is a pte 5858 which isn't too have imo, really the whole reason for the traction bar is to support the turbo. But if I can get away with the OEM studs/nuts(I just bought all new ones) then i'd happily but the 400 odd to another portion of the build.

haven't bought it yet and yes just for looks, mind you it's not some cheap build it's a looks build, Voltex/spoon etc. With that said I have done everything right no shortcuts or cheap parts i'm just at the turbo part and need some help. a top mount is a option too for me.
