One thing I notice in the engine shots that I did not even see on the ADRL car is adjustable cam gears. I have a pic of the ADRL car from Rockingham, NC and laughed because it still had stock cam gears on it, or appeared to have stock cam gears.

Because it runs in the high 3's utilizing true stock parts such as stock head castings, stock cam gears, etc.......Point out other cars in that particular class the that does the same thing.

When you got lots of things to worry about then one day you will understand; if you ever get to that point you will see why you need people you trust behind the wheel of a car like this. As many said its a team effort, as for driving cars well not be a D*** but I get plenty of fun with the car's I have, this is just 1 of the first bad *** cars we've had and so hence the complete rebuild. For me the fun with this car often has been pushing the envelope of the platform as well as developing new parts for it.

As always the HT community is great, thanks for the great comments.

What is the horsepower plan? Fuel? Turbo? Injectors? Stroker?

I didnt think that was going to be possible with just 1 set of injectors and no nitrous is all... I thought it was a valid question to get some detail on is all... all turbo, 1 set of injectors... I know a thing or 2 about 2JZs to know that something else is going to have to happen to take the title from guys with MUCH more.

I am no 2JZ expert by any means, but why will there need to be that MUCH more in the means of power adder to be faster? I am sure they have tons of data and knowledge from their ADRL Extreme 10.5" car that they may be able to apply towards the setup in this car. They are able to run in the 3's with less engine than majority of their competitors, maybe all of their competitors in ADRL, except for maybe Paradise Racing or Brent Rau that may make it to some of the ADRL races. I am not sure if any of the rotary cars have tried out ADRL. Either way, that car has no nitrous on it, however if my info is correct it does have more than one set of injectors and we all know it runs methanol.

I am not sure I have ever seen another car with IRS and a Liberty tranny. All the other really fast street style Supras that I know of seem to run automatics or still compete with the stock manual tranny.
