Thank you so much to everyone that came to MIR this past weekend and supported us at the Haltech World Cup Finals - Import vs. Domestic! We had our share of bad weather on Friday and Saturday along with oil downs and some crashes, but fortunately no one was hurt. But hey.... We GOT THE EVENT DONE!!! WOO HOO!!! My staff get 100% of the credit for this event for getting this event done!!! I know I am the promoter, but I could not do this without my staff, they never complained and they gave it their all right down to the curfew or should I say just past it on a Sunday night! Congrats to all the winners, I am so proud of the teams that pushed through the conditions and won their class and all the new records and personal bests that were set this weekend. I live for this and it is so awesome to see how much all these cars improve every year on their performance. It drives me that much harder to never want to disappoint anyone. Travel home safe everyone, and look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Ton of fun,cars and people. I believe Sunday was one of the biggest turnouts I have ever seen at a track period.

Wish I was there to whitness it. I kept up with updates of who was running what. My buddy said it was the best event he has ever gone to. Congrats on getting it done guys and to everyone that set secords and personal bests !

Thanks to Jason Miller and staff for putting on another badass event and getting us into the track on sunday even though traffic was backed up on the main rd past the dirtbike track incredible turnout!!

As a racer, I was disappointed in the uncontrollable events (weather, fluids on the track) and also in my car's performance. I was also disappointed that I had to pit in the dirt/grass and that I had to remove my turbo compressor housing, but I guess you can't please everybody. BUT, I have to hand it to you and your crew at MIR. MIR is my home track and I've been going there for 15 years. I believe the way that your crew handles events of this magnitude are a direct influence of you. They are totally reasonable in helping racers and it just takes a lot of the stress out of the racer knowing that the crew is willing to cater to you.

A few other thoughts I had:
1. Informing the turbo cars ahead of time that they will have to pull their compressor housings off would be a huge help.
2. Getting rid of the index racing and bracket racing. They were obviously a burden.
3. I could not believe how many spectators were entering the track when I was leaving on Sunday. I have never seen that many people. Amazing.

I give jason alot of credit. with all the work your guys did this weekend was amazing. With all the effort that was put in with all the mishaps from weather, oil downs from special minded people. Your guys proved why you have one of the best tracks. its about racing. When I saw hoe you were hobbling around you would think you were a cripple and still kept it moving


I think that maybe the index should be just down to 10.5 and 11.5 and restrict the amount that can enter those index classes (25) plus they can only enter one class not both or all 4 like some did or tried to.

Loved the event! Me and 3 of my friends made the drive from Indiana (currently in Ohio on way back) and we will definitely be back. Best drag event I've been to.

Haven't missed one in the last decade but this was the absolute first time I've ever seen a 3 mile long line to get in the track! It was absolutely insane to see how incredibly huge this event has gotten.

We stayed until 1:30am to finish watching the heads up classes and it was worth every frost bitten toe. Gavio with an 9.74 (crazy), Morse, 8.48 (also crazy and out of nowhere), I didn't see it but I heard a rotary Extreme car set a record of 6.2x and who didn't cheer when SF lit up the board with a 7.91 at 196mph.

Although I rather dislike the index classes, I understand it's essential to accommodate more racers and for revenue but good lord, the index cars were causing practically all the oil downs but a select few. Anyway, fantastic event and look forward to the next one!

We had a perfect weekend at the track. Ran personal bests back to back to back. Got put out in 2nd round true street by Dennis soto. He drove right around me car is quick for sure. Congrats to all the winners

Awesome event as always! Never miss it! Great job to the MIR crew for working their butts off to make it happen. Got a new pb there and did well in 10.5 index. I didn't spill a drop on the track either. See ya again next year!

Had a blast, first WCF ever for me. Will definitely be trying to make this a regular thing. Carey Bales is nuts, all I have to say about that. All the guys at TPR, awesome crew. Had fun hanging out and watching some good racing up at the big end. Nice meeting some of the Cincinnati guys as well. Had to cut out early on Sunday to make my flight and missed most of eliminations. Definitely will make longer plans for next time. Can't wait to get out there with my car in the near future.

agreed out of the past 7 years I have attended this event all the years it has ran very late into the night seemed the index classes were slowing down everything, although weather played a big part of falling behind this weekend and yall did eliminate all index classes over 12.50 from previous years still kind of seems to slow the rest of the event down. All in all great weekend one of the things I look forward to most every year you guys work hard to make sure one of best tracks in country!

This was our first time to MIR and its now going to be a yearly trip. 17 hour drive from Canada, but well worth it. I cannot wait til next year.

7 of us flew in from the UK for this event, the dedication of the track staff was incredible, along with the track staff the guys in the Z cafe worked flat out and deserve a shout too.
Your passion clearly overflowed on the Friday and Saturday night, which echoed the voices of the spectators, track etiquette was the key word and not followed by some drivers and spectators alike but better the devil you know now to prepare for next year.
The fact you had an oil down 28 feet wide by over 1000 meters that was cleaned up in 1 1/2 hours and presented the racers with a perfect track to race is a testament to your team, I will make the effort to return next year, please make sure your team see or hear about the feedback.
