Re: Ethanol - E98
We do...a bunch. We were buying it from the various Blenders (i.e. the people that deliver fuel to the stations) before they mix gas down to e10. We have switched to a standalone ethanol manufacturer. Working with them on getting capacity up and delivery easier.

It was actually 53 gallons according to the Ignite label.. It was shipped to Phoenix for that, I bet it would be more to California..

Ignite 114 actually increased knock voltage over pump E85. I know its just amplitude and not really a 100% sign of knock, but typically if its noisier its not happy. It tested around E95 by volume.

We have about 400 gals of E98 right now that we buy directly from the manufacturer. It is always consistent. Its all made from fruit and actually has a "sweet" smell to is lol. We use it in all our cars.
The only problem would be shipping it, i am looking into it right now but it is not something easy to do. We sell it for $5 a gallon.

Not sure how much faith i'd put in that. Been running Ignite 114 at 55psi on my race car with no issues, don't think i'd try that with pump E85.

Re: Ethanol - E98
i get e98 here by the drum locally for 2.95/gal but was wondering what my best bet would be for mixing it down to e85 so its true street legal. would i be a bad idea to mix in a higher octane gas like 110 or c16 or q16?
