surge tank location

can you run a surge tank in the engine bay and be legal for true street class?

tought i read all fuel tank container must be back of car.

So running a fuel Surge tank in engine bay would be ok?

If the rules don't say you can't, then you can. That applies to any class...

As long as you have a gas tank in the "Factory Location" i dont see why that would be a problem.
